"Service Unavailable"?

Over the last couple of days, intermittently, when trying to access the Dis, I get the following message:


I've had this happen on multiple computers and multiple times a day. Didn't the Dis just change hosts recently?

I keep getting it too. At first I thought it was jsut on one computer as I rebooted and it fixed it. hten it happened on another computer too. It seems intermittent, though rebooting seems to help, at least temporarily.

That might just be the time it takes to reboot. I've found just waiting it out and it eventually comes back.

I've been getting it off and on.....sometimes several times a day from 5 minutes to 5 hours.
Not on all systems.

They moved to a hosted XenForo site, for increased reliability.

Seems to be working out well......

I've been experiencing this too but only on desktop. I mainly use Chrome but had the same error message when I swapped over to Edge. Meanwhile on my phone I don't have any problems.

I only check on my laptop and at night, after kiddo has gone to bed and it seems to be regularly down, which is frustrating.

"Service Unavailable" is an HTTP 503 code that would be returned by the server. Generally speaking, this would be unrelated to anything on our end, and if you only get it on certain devices, that's probably just a coincidence.

Still can't access using Firefox
