I have been with my SD on Kilimanjaro Safari's ( they will strap the dog in- don't know how they'll do this with a small dog but it must be done according to the CM as they don't want the safari animals to see or smell your dog),

They only allow one SD per truck on the Safari. I had to ride with my daughter and my hubby rode with our son. It was a pain, especially since they could have strapped both in the same truck. But it was still a fun ride.

Interesting about rough terrain. I went looking at pics because her had not noticed. I can see where a push chair would get rough. Our daughters chair has hydrolics and tends to smooth things out. She goes right ove gravel/through a yard and never thinks much about it!
