Service Differences between Stateroom Categories

I just email this thread to my DH and he almost died laughing.

He told me last night I can upgrade my cabin if I wanted to, but after thinking it over I decided not to. Reasons being, I would prefer to spend the extra $$$$ on other things on the cruise, e.g. Palo & excursions etc. and I should not have let my neighbor putting silly thoughts in my mind in the first place.

However, I may just get a group of DIS'er together on my cruise and post some pictures for my neighbor, maybe that will scare her off DCL completely so nobody else will have to put up with her in the future. Did I mentioned that I have cream for breakfast this morning and am sharpening my claws right now. (meow)

Thanks to all again for the encouragement and great ideas.

Now I will have to get started and get a hotel room in the Orlando area for the night before the cruise. Tried the Priceline $30.00 route and no takers. So I am reading a few more posts this morning to get more ideas.

Thanks a bunch.

Add the universal area to your priceline bid and you should be able to snag the Whyndam I drive for about $32.00. It is about 15 mins. further away but great pools etc. your neighbor will really flip when you say you are staying there (show them the website) as it runs about $100.00 a night without priceline. Pick three stars universal area and you should get it.

OH please!! After reading this, a song has come into my head.
"If I only had a brain......."

Our 1st cruise we stayed in a Cat 10. 2nd cruise was a Cat 4. There was absolutely no difference in the service between those 2 catagories. It was terrific.

The neighbor needs to stop watching Titanic.

Enjoy you're cat 11. That's what we booked for our next cruise.

Ok, Ok, all I can picture when I started reading this thread is:

"How are the accomodations in steerage, Mr. Dawson?" (snooty red hair lady with the face of a pug...no offense to pugs)

"Finest I have seen Ma'am, hardly any rats"

I agree with the others, your neighbor has watched too much Titanic and fancies herself the "upper crust". :):)
