I called today to make my ADRs for Jan 2013. The woman on the phone told me that I cannot make any ADRs until I have the dining plan added to my room-only reservation. She also said that I can add the dining plan up to two years in advance of my check-in date.

Time for another call. Not only can you make ADRs but you can make them for 180 plus 10. Even the online system will recognize your room only reservation number and give the access.

What you WON'T be able to do is bypass prepaying certain meals like CRT like you can if your reservation includes the dining plan.

And package prices for 2013 won't be out until later this week. So they were wrong on that count too.

Not unusual though for CMs to get details wrong. Just call back.

Call back! Some phone CM have no idea about what they are talking about. Sad that most of us know things better then them

It's so strange talking to a CM who really has no clue. She even put me on hold to get confirmation, because I was skeptical (duh).

I tried doing it online, but my internet is wonky, so I called back and got a fabulous CM. Go figure.
