Seriously, what kind of person steals a baby's blanket?!?!?!

The blanket is in a trash can near where your stoller was. They wanted a stroller and removed all personal items.

Wow, am I out of touch! And to think I was torqued a couple of years ago when I left a really nice headband at the Contemporary Steak House and no one turned it in. (And it was cold; I needed it.)

It's got to have been about 10 years ago now, I was in a restroom near the Liberty Tree Tavern. I closed the door and there on the hook was someone's fanny pack. The bathroom was packed. So, when I, the mom, and the niece and nephew left, I took it with me. We stopped at Guest Services on the way out of the MK. I thought the cast member's eyes were gonna pop out of her head when I turned it in and told her the location where I'd found it. I had never disturbed it because I didn't really want the owner to think I'd taken anything, but the cast member said a couple from Canada had reported it missing. I never really knew for sure, but it sounded like the owner and the pack were going to get reunited.

I had no idea stuff was missing at WDW. I always thought there was some kind of honor code that guests could enjoy the attractions and nobody bothered anything. Guess I'll have to be more careful--or less naive.

I tie all kinds of stuff all over my stroller -- bandanas, ribbons, you name it. I can pick my stroller out from a mile away! I also attach AT LEAST three name tags to it in different places and I stick an address/phone label right to the frame (and yes, it is a good stroller -- the City Mini). I have left things in the stroller before, but nothing of major value. So far, I have been lucky and I havent lost anything. I think decorating your stroller is the key to beign able to #1 find it when CM's have to move it and 2 keeping it from getting stolen

Be careful about locking your stroller. Even if you have it in the "correct" area, CMs are constantly shifting them around to line them up. And if you don't have it in the correct area and it's locked, you could find it in another land.

I've heard plenty of stories from CMs that "shift" strollers down to the other end of Fantasyland or something.

If you really want to lock it, lock the front wheel so it can be tipped back for easy moving, which is generally the easiest way to do it for a CM. It doesn't hinder their job as much, but would make it highly annoying for any one to actually use.
