oh patty, good luck with this. you can live vicareously though the rest of us. (not that we should be shopping either mind you). maggie

I feel for you Patty! I worked several hours this week repairing several computers & was really hoping to be able to use the money to get a Sizzix & a couple dies between the sales at Michaels & ACMoore. (I'm tired of waiting to use DDIL's. :rotfl: ) Unfortunately, DH reminded me of some things we needed that I'd forgotten about. So no Sizzix for me. :sad2:

Ok, Patty's DH step away from the computer and let the REAL Patty come out to play! :rotfl2: :rotfl:

And Deb... are you on the "siphoning of funds self reward system?"
Just a little off the top is all it takes! :teeth:

Interesting adventure to embark on... NOT Spending Money!
Girls we're not "scrap addicts" for nothing!
Good Luck!

Don't feel too sorry for me! ;) If I was able to actual save the little that I siphon off the top, I could have bought myself one - plus an alphabet using coupons since the 1st of the year! :rotfl: I just keep spending $10 - $20 at Michaels or online. The difference is that DH knows I've gotten stuff, but doesn't "see" it to start wondering about how much I've spent. It just finally caught up with me....for this month anyway. ;)

That's OK, April is right around the corner. In the meantime, you can start making lists.

Of course, if you truly don't need a thing :confused3

Sorry Patty, but I'm going to believe it when I see it. Unless you're looking at making lists of all the stuff you will absolutely NEED to buy for that new house. Then maybe you'll get through this.

:cool1: I made it 24 hours now!
(actually its been about a week I would say since I bought anything! - but since I mentally decided not to its been 24 hours!)
Lucky for me DH knew I had charged a bunch of christmas gifts, down payment for Disney, and all of our Jellystone Park vacation - but he didn't know what the total was on that - so as for my credit card balance - he didn't know how much was scrap-crap and how much was from the other stuff!

I am thinking about the shopping at the CK Convention in May - I will make lists for that!

I have to think about the gravel and Foundation, plus with our two week trip to Florida next month and DD getting braces right after we get back I really need to be good...

I started a 'scrapbook' thing for the new house where I cut out pictures of design ideas and slap them in and it is divided into the rooms...
I already bought my scrproom/office Retro Mickey phone, Lamp, roladex, and desk accessories - :rotfl2: and of course I had to get 4 of those disney phones that someone posted about here on the dis! :confused3 how could you not at those prices :cloud9:

it's ok patty, I shopped for you today. went to the scrapbook store in fairfax and the ac moore down the block... needed some retail therapy after the stupid competencies... I felt much better after dropping a bunch of money. :) maggie
