Seriously, did anyone get Hip tickets?

I had two tickets for the London show through Amex Front f the line but they were in level 300 near the back and I have no desire to sit back that far. Hopefully some lucky fan got them

I didn't and the scalper thing pisses me off...I refuse to buy resale tickets unless they are close to retail price. I wished Canada would crack down on this because it's leaving most of us out in the dust.

Totally agree with you. If the band wants to charge more and make more money off the tour, fine. That's one thing. The money will go into their pockets (they are the ones providing the entertainment). But to pay a middleman who simply has the computer hacking type skills to jump the line is a completely different matter. Yes it's supposed to be free enterprise but this takes it into a whole other dark and seedy place.

Just bumping this thread up - as the Hip have just emailed releasing more tickets.- Check your inbox

Here we go again. The highs of the anticipation and the lows that come from failing to secure seats once more. Oh the roller coaster that is the pursuit of the Tragically Hip tickets. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, this is a handful of seats at each venue as they've adjusted the stage to allow more seating. Bots'll scoop 'em up at 10:00...

I got a pair for Victoria, somebody let their cart expire & I lucked out spamming the try again button 15 minutes after sales opened.

There is an easy solution to this I wish the band would jump in and push for this. You must have the cedit card used to purchase the tickets. This will stop the ease of scalping. Not sure what the solution is for those that sell at face value but it's a start.

If more bands would have supported Pearl Jam in the early 90's when they tried to oppose Ticketmasters monopoly things might be better now

CBC just announced they will be live broadcasting the final show in Kingston ON.
