We were planning to stay at Grande Villas as we usually do for our December trip. However, Interval International gave us a free extra week so now our options have really opened up. We could stay at any of the following (4 adults, 4 little kids)....

Marriot Grande Vista
Marriot Harbour Lakes
Marriot Cypress Harbour
Marriot Royal Palms
Marriot Sabal Palms
Sheraton Vistana

or stick with Grande Villas which look horrible compared to these other places lol. We would be in a 2 bedroom villa.

Any thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!! I'm the official planner and no one else cares so the decision falls on me (the most indecisive person ever!).

I couple of years back We stayed at the Marriot Grande Vista, we had an awesome time. I am travelling next October and will be staying at the Marriot Vacation Villas. If it's a rainy day they offer a wide variety of activities so kids don't drive you crazy. Hope it helps. Check out the videos of the resort on youtube.:)

We have stayed at Marriott Grande Vista, Marriott Cypress Harbor and Marriott Sabal Palms. I have two girls, now ages 6 and 9. Cypress Harbor was boring. I would recommend Grande Vista or Sabal Palms. It's a toss up which I like better and it depends on the age of your kids. The Sabal Palms are bigger for sure and only two story units. The pool there is BORING and no one is there HOWEVER you can walk (5 min) to Marriott World Center and that is great for kids! There is a water slide and small beach area (small but great for little kids) and a huge pool and restaurants.

Marriott Grande Vista is great too with multiple pools and large tall buildings. Honestly, we stayed twice at Sabal Palms over all of the other resorts simply because the pool at World Center is so great.

Good luck!
