A couple of thoughts regarding this thread. This lady is being harrased by people who are rude to anyone who does not agree with their views. Any group, be it political, religious or social will contain a small fringe element that behaves this way. The danger comes when the opposing side sterotypes. In this thread, Bush suppporters have been called ignorant, compared to Nazis and it has been strongly implied that we support violent tactics. In doing this, those posters lower themselves to the same standards as the people who spit on the OP's car.
Living in Austin (a very liberal town), I have been called greedy and heartless by some when they relaized I was conservative. I simply chalked it up to the fringe element and did not judge all those with more liberal beliefs in that light. In the same way, most liberals I know would not judge all Bush supporters by the acts of acts of a few. It is truly sad that there are some posters on this thread who have chosed to stereotype and slam (even going so far as to to lable their slams as non-debatable facts) rather than recoginize that the acts the OP decribes are not stereotypical.
Pixe_dust - I have seen many recounts of the 2000 Florida election, and every one of them showed Bush to be the winner. There may be recounts I haven't seen that have different results, but at the very least the subject is open for debate. Your conclusions are hardly proven "fact".
To the OP: As a conservative I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this. My first inclination would be to keep the sticker where it is and report anyone who harrasses you to the police. However, I would not take a stand to protect your free speach if you think it endangers your family.
