Serious Question About Pres. Bush's Face

To be fair, I am a Kerry supporter, and he does look very tired in tonight's debate.

On the other hand, what is wrong with the president's face? I don't remember his mouth being so crooked. It almost looks like he has had a bit of a stroke. Is it just my tv or has anyone else noticed this?

I know this is just fluff and does not reflect the issues of the debate or who is the better candidate.

It almost looks like he had dental work and his mouth is still numb on one side. That top left is a wee bit droopy.

Just kidding. He does almost look like he's had dental work, or like he has an impacted tooth.

I thought the same thing about his mouth - it looks crooked or something. It also looked as though there was something in the "crevice" of the right side of his mouth - salive or a cold sore or something. YUCK!

DH pointed out the *thing* near the right side of his mouth. I thought it may be a bit of saliva/spit! But he never wiped it away. After that I kept looking at it.

I didn't look for any drooping.

I 'm going to go check.

There is REALLY (for real) something wrong! I think his face is swollen and he is slurring his words!

I wonder what is up???

Maybe they had to hide the wire transmitter in his mouth this time since they knew everyone would be looking at his back.

His left ear appears quite swollen, much larger than the right.

I hope he's ok. I wish no physical harm to anyone.

Just watch the talking heads after the debate I'm sure someone will satisfy your curiosity and tell you what they think is wrong with his face. And if not tonight it will be all over the papers and blogs tomorrow.

Bush has always had a twist in his smile - it is just the way his face is made. In the early days of the campaign, his opponents called it a "smirk."

He obviously has done some intense training - possibly even surgery, but that is just my speculation - to try to transform the "smirk" into a more even smile. It is obviously not perfect.

In politics these days though, such trivial things as this can actually sway votes, and make for great punchlines amongst those who hate him anyway.

No, it was extremely slanted tonight, far worse than it's ever been. Maybe, we will never find out why, but it was very strange.

I thought maybe his face was starting to freeze that way, from making all of those faces at Kerry during the 1st debate

Then I got a little scared that my Mom was right, and so I looked closer. Definitely looks like he had dental surgery and was still under novocaine

That little bit of spittle on the corner of Bush's mouth really bothered me! YUK!
