I was taLKING TO A GIRL ON MAIN STREET AND SHE SAID THAT THERE WAS A BOY TRYING TO HURT GIRLS IN vmk. I am woried about this because this may be the Habbo incedent. I dont know what to do. I dont even have the name of the guy

I'm not sure there's anything you can do except advise them to report anyone being inappropriate. Even with the person's title, all you'd be able to do is report them, and that only works if you actually saw them doing something wrong.

If there is anyone who could tell you about the Habbo Raiders, it'd be me.

I made a thread several months back talking about all the raiding that was going on in Habbo. I explained how VMK ads were showing up on the Habbo Homepage.

I figured that the raiders might select VMK as their next target.

Since that post, there have been several reports of raiders in VMK.

I have only seen them in person once. Their signatures bear the phrase

"Why The Them End Dis"

Which refers to a site which I will not mention. Raiders get their fun from ruining others fun. They are mean, and they have large numbers.

There were several thousand raiders in Habbo on 9-11 of this year, simply to ruin everyone's fun and be disrespectful. VMK has several advantages over Haboo, such as its dictionary, better moderation, and smarter than the average users.


My advice to you is to report people like him. And anyone else reading this, if you see any strange activity inside VMK, report it ASAP.

Block doors, shout profanity, annoy people, threaten, promote racism, insult mods, and most importantly, SCAM

But if theyre blocking doors they can just be booted from a room. And profanity, and racism, they can just be reported and banned, and annoy people well same as before, just boot from room. Or ignore. And insult mods well that right there is getting banned right away. And scamming well people shouldnt be so gullable and fall for the whole HEY LET ME JUST TRY THAT ON stuff. I dont mean to sound like Im defending people that do this but its just stuff that can be taken care of easily.

Come to think of it, I did see someone on Main Street the other day implying that he had an adult relationship with another player's "mummy" - I just thought "ewwwww" and left the room. But now I'm wondering if this may have been the work of the so-called raiders. Wow, next time I guess I will report.

I doubt it. I believe the raids would be far more worse.

Let me tell you something scary that happened to me. One time I was in a guest room with my friend redwolfboy, and two other people I really didn't talk to. SO another dude comes in, stands in the middle of the room adn says "I know where you live and I know your alone and I will dead you." Most of my friends (I know in real life) we're freaking out. (there we're only three of us) so then he said things to us personally that freaked us out. After reporting to VMK, someone got so freaked out they were like telling the staff how scared they were. The staff actually came into the room and talked to her because she was freaking out.

This is truely and utterly sad.. This is a Disney site for goodness sake's people! Get a clue! If they want a boyfriend or girlfriend they need to take it somewhere else, like the real world. It sickens me because it could be a sweet innocent girl with a preverted 40 year old man. That's why I never did and will do taken. I just laugh at people who I see taken, it's kind of funny that they are trying to hook up on a virtual DISNEY website. VMK was intended for innocent fun, your own little virtual disneyland, such a great idea. But people are taking this advantage waaayyy to far, having 'bay be's' and such it disgusts me how far this site how gone down since I've joined, I just hope there is some way to prevent all of this happening

I've seen the 'I'll dead you" deal a few times recently and there has been a notable increase in the number of people (usually two, some times three or four it's obvious they are together) I see blocking entrances and exits and generally being annoying. I watched two characters(I'm not so sure it was two different people) the other night blocking the bridge at Big Thunder Mountain demanding payment to pass. I don't know if this was part of a bigger thing or not but there was a 3rd character that kept asking me what is was that they were that was so wrong.

An anti-raid group isn't a bad idea. I don't know how you implement something like that but those people left Big Thunder pretty quick when I stood next to them and threatened to keep reporting them, telling others what they were doing was wrong and urging them to report, in short, I took all the fun out of their fun. I don't think they can be chased away strictly by being banned for the reasons SilentPedro brought up. BUT I think they will leave when they cease to have fun, seeing that they are essentially trolls.

If you are confronted by anyone like that when you are alone with no friends online in VMK put them on ignore long enough to make sure you have the name and go somewhere else. If you have friends on VMK get them there, shout the raiders down, surround them, report them and tell them that you are doing so.If you see someone else being harassed, join in and do the above, when the bans and the lack of laughs start outnumbering the laughs they will move to greener pastures.

At least that's what I think but I could be wrong

Maybe the enhancements from this morning and tonight are to combat this.
