HI guys. It's been a Loooooooong time since I lst posted here but I have been a frequesnt lurker. It has been even longer since my last trip to WDW and I am seriously jonesing for a visit. My last trip was about 3 years ago
and I am going crazy, as I USED to go on an almost yearly basis.
My boyfriend and I recently moved from Long Island, New York to a small town in North Carolina where we fulfilled my dream of owning a horse farm and becoming a riding instructor. The hours are long and the work is 24/7, but I do love it. Since the business is in it's infantcy there is no WAY we could take a vacation. But we have promised each other that when the biz is a success and turning a profit consistantly, that we will reward ourselves with a dream trip to Disney. Luckily our business appears to be speeding toward that goal. The HARD part will be finding someone to "mind the farm" while we are away.
Meanwhile...what the HECK can I do to ease this nagging pain that I have without my precious Disney??? I have been living vicariously through other posters
!! I bought the WDW Explorer CD=ROM, which is OK but not what I was expecting. It helps just to hear the music....I had my boyfriend download from a "Napster" type site a while ago, various Disney sounds (like queue line music, the monorail announcement en Espanol!)
Aside from hanging out with you guys and maybe ordering the planning video to watch, what do you do to get you through those LOOOOOOOOONG stretches between trips?
PS...When we do take our celebratory trip, I was thinking 10 days In the Beach Club in a Epcot/water-view room.
