I've been reading some Trip Reports . A few have said oh the lunch on CC at Serenity Bay is so much Better . What is The Menu ?Any Imfo is appreciated about CC or Kids Club on C C . Boys are 9 & 11 yrs. Old.

I have only been to Serenity Bay as it is 18+ and I don't have kids - so be aware that your kids will not be allowed to go with you if you choose to go - so I cannot compare the food, but I've always been happy with the food there (I've had burgers, hot dogs, and steak at various times...they usually have ribs, but I don't like those so I never have them, and on occasion if CC day falls after the night they have lobster, they have lobster at SB if there is any left over).

But atmosphere-wise I definitely find it calmer than anywhere on the ship. Quieter. I don't have to worry that a kid who may or may not be in my line of vision is going to dart out in front of me while I'm carrying my plate (yes, that happened in Cabanas once and the plate went everywhere as I struggled to not fall on the child - of course no parent was in sight). So the calm and peacefulness is exactly what I want for a day at the beach.

The kids club on CC is called Scuttle's Cove. My kids both love it there, although they are younger than your kids (8 and 4 last time we were there).

They have fresh fruit, pasta salads, grilled steak, hot dogs, burgers, chips, cookies, fountain drinks, etc.

I like it because it is much quieter than the main part of the island :)

I agree with the PP, I like the quite peacefulness of it too!!!

Great info! I will finally visit SB on CC this time. It will be my kids first time in Scuttles Cove, too! I didn't use it last time, because I thought they took the kids out to the water/sand, like some other kids clubs.

So looking fwd to it! Tagging along for more info :)

We have been to CC 3 times now. This last trip we decided to check out Serenity Bay while the kids were in the club. Oh my, the name really does describe the area. Its so peaceful and quiet. They have a CM singing soft beach type songs which help set the mood. We went over around 1pm and there was no line whatsoever at the buffet. The food appeared to be the exact same. We didn't get too close to check for minor differences though. Its not a very large area, but large enough since its just adults. Keep in mind you do hear an occasional kid in the background if you are at the buffet as the bike path runs right by the drop off for Serenity Bay. It wasn't enough to be that noticeable, but I was specifically looking for differences to compare and I remember that part. If you have kids, its definitely worth dropping them off for a couple of hours at Scuttles Cove while you relax at Serenity Bay. There are plenty of things to do for them, and they have water activities and a splash pad in the club as well.

The food at S.B. was pretty much the same as at Cookies with the exception of offered steaks. On occasion the little lobster tails are included in the menu if any are left over from formal night.

Yes, the ribeye steak was the only extra once we finally realized there was one, but oh so yummy!

We love the buffet on CC day so much that we eat lunch right away at 11am when it's served and visit again right before it closes at 1pm just to have more delicious servings. SO GOOD.

I guess I am in the minority but the 2 times we ate at Serenity Bay I was unimpressed. Food was all too well cooked to my liking and nothign special. As a matter of fact I think next time we're going to head to one of the family beach areas instead because we always really enjoyed that beach more

As mentioned on the sign above, they do offer Mahi Mahi and steak in addition to the burgers and hot dogs offered at Cookies, but in 6 visits I have never seen the chicken. If you have any vegetarians in your party, they do have a veggie burger and a nice selection of salads and fresh fruit.

Lunch at Serenity Bay is great if you care about lunch at Serenity Bay. If you don't, it isn't. It's six of one and a half dozen of the other. It's not enough to get worked up about and not important enough to actually change your schedule for.

Yep. I find the food on the island is pretty much the same, regardless of where it's served. The only difference is at Serenity Bay, there are no kids running around the eating area.
