Massive upset. Now watch Serena act like the biggest baby in her post match interviews. She's one of the sorest losers I've ever seen.

I really respect what she has accomplished as an athlete but I once had the displeasure of being in the back of the room while she was giving a press interviews for an event that she was kind of a "guest celebrity" at and she clearly did not want to be there for whatever reason she had.

Tantrums and tennis players kind of go hand in hand way too often but I've never been able to get that perception of her out of my head.

I'm so sorry she lost. We are huge Venus and Serena fans. As a matter of fact, we never followed the sport until they started playing.

They have been great for tennis. I was Reallt hoping for a Serena Slam.

I'm sorry to hear she lost too, I think it would have been awesome for her to win a Grand Slam.

Every time I have ever seen her interviewed, I thought she carried herself with great dignity. She recently was asked about how she felt knowing Maria Sharapova makes more than she does and her comments were incredibly gracious and mature, IMHO. I think she's a very impressive individual.

I think their longevity is due to their father not allowing them to play as juniors. Of course many took issue with that, but it was a smart move.

I really wanted her to win the calendar slam, but I guess there is always next year. I still think she will definitely pass Graff and Court with the most slams. The biggest loser in this is ESPN and resalers. Viewership definitely will drop, I also read ticket prices have plummeted with the cheapest ticket on resale just $50.

So far I haven't read any ungracious or sore loser comments from Serena about this upset, unlike many such comments in the past.

The worst I read were from some sports journalist, making excuses, blaming the time of day the match was played, the extra day off, etc.

Well did you hear her post game interview? She was definitely snarky and short with the reporters. A couple times she was rude to reporters and said "I'm not going to answer that." She sounded angry at having to be there. She just comes across as such a cry baby when she loses. Maybe I'm being too hard on her but Federer, Nadal, and Djokovich don't act like that after a loss.

No, I haven't heard her post match interview. I just read what one website quoted yesterday. That report apparently left out any snarky or nasty remarks she may have made.

Based on how she responded in the past, I don't doubt for a second whatever you heard.

McEnroe does it in a funny way. There is nothing funny about how Serena acts.

Totally agree. Those were some classy ladies playing in the final today. For some reason the media gives Serena a pass when she acts like a jerk in her interviews. Really wish someone would call her out for it.
