Massive upset. Now watch Serena act like the biggest baby in her post match interviews. She's one of the sorest losers I've ever seen.
I am surprised, but actually kind of happy about it.
I think their longevity is due to their father not allowing them to play as juniors. Of course many took issue with that, but it was a smart move.I really don't follow tennis, but the fact she & her sister have both been able to play at such a high level for SOOOO long is mind boggling.
Me too, can't stand her.
So far I haven't read any ungracious or sore loser comments from Serena about this upset, unlike many such comments in the past.
Well did you hear her post game interview? She was definitely snarky and short with the reporters. A couple times she was rude to reporters and said "I'm not going to answer that." She sounded angry at having to be there. She just comes across as such a cry baby when she loses. Maybe I'm being too hard on her but Federer, Nadal, and Djokovich don't act like that after a loss.
Really? You can't stand her, but Hulk Hogan is ok? Interesting. I assume those of you who don't like her feel the same about McEnroe too. And for any baseball fans, Bryce Harper.Me too, can't stand her.

So refreshing to watch the final, such gracious players. So glad to see Williams go, she was a disgrace in her interview. Maybe no one will show up for her next interview.
