On our previous visits to Orlando we have always travelled in July - however due to holiday commitments we are visiting this year in September.

How will the weather compare to July !

How busy will the parks be in comparison !

Do the parks maintain a full schedule of attractions and events during September !

We are going for our first september trip also..but I have done a lot of research on it lately....

It is still hot in September definitely warm enough to swim when you want..but not as hot as July or August.

The parks are pretty uncrowded as American kids all go back to school end of August or early September and parents do not like to generally have them miss class time so early in the new school year..so parks are good for touring with short lines...

As far as shows go..there are hours for all parks except Magic Kingdom up and posted on the official Walt Disney World Site...Magic Kingdom hours should be posted today or soon we heard for September. They also list he parade schedule for each day on it also, if you click on the events for each day under the times on the calendar..hope this helps some.have a good trip now...

We went in September 2000. The only problems we encountered were love bugs and rain. Love bugs were well controlled in WDW though. Because September is hurricane season, we definitely had rain. We didn't let it stop us though. We put our ponchos on and went to the parks and had fun anyway.

We've gone in the summer in the past, and I would choose September over July and August.

They cut back the Fantasy in the Sky and Spectromagic quite drasticaly for the last week of August.
Id assume this will carry on thru September.
They will probably only have them on Fridays and saturdays (as per the winter) so be prepared fo busy nights as at lot of locals go as well.
