September where whould you stay & why?

Hi,

Since some of you think the September is a good time! Where would you stay for 3 days? Sunday to Wednesday hopefully. We want an HA studio. Thanks for posting & taking the poll!

I've been in Sept and some days can be very hot. I'd prefer to be at BCV for SAB and close proximity to Epcot and MGM would make bopping to/from the resort very easy. Especially if you want to grab an impromptu meal. (We wouldn't necessarily leave SSR, OKW, or VWL just for dinner at a park. Travel times and hassle can be huge.)

Think fun in the park in am, easy swim when it gets hot, lunch at beaches & cream (no way Jose sundae!), lazy river, meander to park for dinner, meander back for R&R or sweet treat at the Boardwalk.

BWV would be great too. But, SAB is a big advantage.

It's quite arguably one of the most decadent and largest sundaes I've ever seen.... Just the thing for those hot summer days.

But, then again, SSR is close to the Ghiardelli soda shop!

As a Florida Native experienced in these matters, I'd strongly recommend the Ahwanee Lodge in Yosemite National Park (CA). Highs in the 70's, lows in the 50's.

My fav is BWV especially since you haven't been before. Close to Epcot, Mgm and many great restaurants all around the Boardwalk. And then you can walk off the sundae on your way back from B&C.

OKW is so so lovely and relaxing... I've been in HA studio and it's very nice. The rooms are bigger at OKW than any other DVC resort.

I was just talking to DH about our upcoming trip and he said "I can't wait to see the gatehouse at OKW again" and I got to thinking about how much I love the familiarity of my home away from home...

remember the park close early in Sept.

so having easy park access is not necessary. the parks are about as uncrowded as they can get.

So the parks are not a problem.

I voted OKW - because I like to get away from the parks totaled - and relax - however everyone is different.

at night at EPcot - there is a very long walk to the buses.

if walking is a problem - definitely go with an Epcot resort.

the other parks close before Epcot in Sept.

I voted for BWV -- mostly because of the location and the fact that you haven't stayed there yet. Try something new!

Choice #2 is BWV for Food and Wine


Or just stay anywhere. They all have food and Jack Daniel's.
