September trip planning - HHN advice needed

Yay!!! I didn't get an email from Universal about that. Good catch! I have already booked my room at RPH for 9/24-28, so I won't have to worry about the packages eating up the rooms!

Our Premiere Passes will expire in a week I think we will get the Power Pass when we are down there though. It seems like a really good deal since we plan on going to the parks all 4 days. With the Power Pass, can we purchase "add-on" HHN tickets?

Oh no. What is going on with rush of fear now that there is an extra day added? Now Sunday, October 2 is day 11. Does that mean Sunday doesn't count?

Could they cut rush of fear to 7 days (first two weekends only)? I would normally wait until June to see HHN ticket options, but I need to buy airline/hotel tickets before the "good ones" sell out.

I used to buy rush of fear but some years back I switched to buy the monthly pass that covered all but Saturday's

When UO added the extra days in sept it blew my ticket plans and switched my pass type

I noticed they changed dates again and removed the first Wednesday in oct this year for Hhn

I book my room early and do air after I have the Hhn calendar informed

I need Saturday included in my ticket due to the fact I am flying in for just an extended weekend. I have a feeling Universal won't throw in an extra day for rush of fear. My bet (only a guess) is that they change rush of fear from 10 to 7 days (just the first two weekends). May bump my trip up from the third to the second weekend of HHN and hope for the best (no oppressive humidity). PS. I can't wait until June to book flights...they fill fast and price increases drastically.

I am flying JetBlue which already has the schedule out for September. I got about $100 off for booking the room (RPH) and flight together. There may be better deals closer to the date, but it does feel good to have it locked in now!

sorry, i over looked part of your question.

if you have any type of day ticket, you can do the hhn add on ticket .


you can buy the add on ticket in advance and not have to wait until the day of you are doing hhn

if you are in the parks on a wednesday and plan to do hhn on a thursday, you can buy the add on ticket at guest services.

if you are ordering tickets online for the park, write down your confirmation number.
when the add on tickets are open to the public, call the ticket order number, give them your park ticket confirmation number and they can sell you the add on ticket then.

since the info regarding ticket prices or ticket passes are not out yet, i do not know if it will follow the same pattern of past years.

last year the hhn ticket price was based on dates.
of course the weekend dates of fri/sat cost more than the other days.

since i have the ap/preferred, i use the ap site for ordering my hhn tickets/pass.
they are discounted.
