I was wondering when I could expect the parade and firework schedule to be announced for September? I am especially looking for the Fantasmic schedule. Thanks!

General Rules for September Schedule:
Fantasmic - Weekends only after Labor Day
Fireworks - No (Although this year they will be running nightly all year long)
Parades - During the week one at Disneyland, none at DCA, Weekends two at Disneyland and the Electrical Parade (Not sure what they'll do with Block Party Bash)
Snow White - 5 Shows Mon.-Thrs, 6 shows on the Fri. - Sun. (If it is still running by then, it is doing really poorly, so it may close)
Aladdin - Dark Tues & Wed....Mon & Thrs. - 3 shows, Fri-Sun. 4 shows
Billy Hill and the Hillbilles - 5 shows daily I believe.

Well, that the general rundown. Of course all bets are off this year.

I need that info too. I was kinda expecting Fantasmic to only be on the weekends due to slower crowds. But thanks for the general run down on the other things too. I hope they open up the schedule soon, since this is the 50th anniversary, we never know what changes will be made. I do hope that the fireworks will still be held nightly.... :goodvibes

They generally do not have fantasmic and fireworks both on weekends off season. Usually they will either have fantasmic weekends only, or fireworks weekends only, but not both. In recent years they usually have fantasmic in the fall and fireworks in the spring on weekends, but not always, seems to change from year to year.

Actually, last year they did have both during the off season (at times). And years before Fantasmic only went down during the off season due to refurb requirements. This year, I would bet both will run once again during the off season, Fantasmic being weekends only (although it is cheduled for a 2-4 week rehab when the Columbia goes down, they can't run Fantasmic without the Columbia), but the Fireworks acording to what Diasney has said (subject to change without notice of course) should run 7 days a wekk all throughout the celebration.

I am still counting on it being like the 45th, which both fantasmic and fireworks ran every night. This is supposed to be a bigger celebration then that was. I too, will be going in Sept. and will be disappointed if I can't see these shows.

Don't let me down Disneyland.

We went in September 2000 for the 45th and both the fireworks and Fantasmic were down:( Hope we get to see them in October this time!
