Coming for our 1st DVC trip @ SSR - Sept. 19-24.

Looking forward to spending some time checking out our home resort. No WDW parks this trip. Lots of relaxing pool side.

Anyone else going to be home @ SSR then as well?

ME...ME....ME...

Ok me and DD she is 11, will be at SSR from Sept 19-26.

We are coming down on Friday Sept 17 and staying two nights at POP then 7 long wonderful nights at SSR.....

We will be there at the same time.
I booked a studio, there is just the two of us.
What about you? I see there are 5 of you nutz????
We have AP's but we will be doing a slower pace then most trips and the pool will be the place we will be.
I'm going to try to book an Illumanations cruise for one of the nights, not sure about much else yet.

It will be so exciting. I am going to be in WDW in May and am going to check out SSR with my DVC guide, which I have never met face to face. I'll let you know when I get back all the lowdown on our new HOME.

My DW and I will be @SSR Sept 20-Oct 1

We plan on doing it all(parks, water parks, horseback riding, boat rentals etc..)

Nice to hear we'll have neighbors from the boards

Booked a 2 bdrm for the week... Can't wait to show it to the family!!

We will be there for our first trip as DVC members!!! We have a 2 bed lock off and are taking a couple of friends. They (a couple) will share the studio portion and we will have the one bedroom portion.

Our baby will be 16 months old then so it will be great to have extra hands, eyes, ears....to help us but we have promised them they can come and go as they please and have a separate vacation if they so desire. Hopefully, we will be able to get the balance right between doing stuff together for fun but also having independence. We are at WDW in May too so we may not find we want to spend as much time in the parks as our friends who haven't been to WDW since our wedding there in 2001 (when he was our best man)

We arrive on September 17th for 2 weeks and I cannot wait!!! Plus I love the feeling of being able to offer our good friends a wonderful vacation where they get free accomodation at a fabulous Disney resort. They deserve it!! (Plus they promised to babysit so we can go over to the movies!! ;-)

DW and I arrive on 7 Sept. for a five day stay to celebrate our 25th anniv. The kids are in school/work so we are on our own this time. We will take in the parks and lounge around the pool a lot. I just booked us for Circ Du Solis(sp?) for Thursday the 9th. I hope it ios worth the price (Ouch!!)

We (myself, DH , and two DS) are heading to SSR on September 25 through October 2. First time as DVC owners! We can't wait to check out the new resort, my in-laws bought SSR the day after we did and are going as well. We usually go the first week of October but over the past few years it has been getting increasingly crowded during that time, so we figured we'd try it a bit earlier this year.

We have a 1 BR booked for Sept 26-Oct 1 and hoping there's a MNSSHP on Oct 1.

we will be there for 1 night on Sep. 11 just to check it out. We then go to VB for the rest of the week.

I will not be there for 1 night in Sep. anymore. I changed it for a whole week in Dec.! but that is for another roll call.

For the ones that will be there while I'm there we should set up a night to view the fireworks. I know it will be late so some with small kids will have a problem. I think it would be fun to see other DIsers while we are at "Home".

We would definitely get together with you and your DD to watch the fireworks. Our DK's will be 3 1/2, 8 and 12 while we are down. Bed time is typically later for them when we are at WDW.

DD (11 years old) and I will be at SSR September 2-10. Due to construction, her first day of school won't be until September 13, so I thought I'd take advantage of the delayed opening and book a trip just for us girls.
