When I made my September ressies, my intent was to try the CSR; however, it was sold out, so I booked CBR instead. CSR now has availability .... should I switch? I live in Florida, so I am not big on the whole "beach" thing - I'm right by the water, and I see it every day .... also, I will have a 10-year old with me, so which one do you think is better? Thanks for your opinions!

Buzz2001 will be along shortly to make up your mind for you. :goodvibes He has lots of good advice about CSR.:thumbsup2

Can I ask a couple questions?

Did you book under the free dinning promotion? Did you directly call Disney to see if there was availability to switch? Was just curious... as theres been some confusion about resorts "appearing" to be available online, but not available for their promotion to switch.

As for the choice? I'm a CBR nut! Love the resort... but since your traveling with a 10yo and admit that the whole "beach" thing is not attractive to you... I would recommend CSR. Much more appealing pool area and slide for that age!

I do prefer the food court at CBR, but if thats not a big deal to you, go with CSR. The layout is a little "nicer" but both resorts are big and spread out. I found the room decor at both to be below par compared to POR and POFQ, but both resort grounds are BEAUTIFUL!

I booked the AP rate. Only a certain number of rooms are available at the AP rate, so when I say it was "sold out", I mean it was sold out for the AP rate. I did call and switch to the CSR, mainly because of the pool. My all time favorite resort is POR - and I will be back there right after Thanksgiving for our "Christmas" trip. Thanks for your input!!
