So, some incentives expire Aug 31st. Any rumors about what the new ones in September will be??

Just toured this morning....and purchased at SSR.

No new incentives as of yet..or a hint..I tried....I started the ball rolling with my guide this week prior to our arrival, cause we had this tour scheduled for awhile (we got in yesterday)...and I was able to get the DIP thanks to a great guide:)

Only single Dev Points now being offered according to my guide.

When you say 'only', are you saying that there is no longer a cash discount per point as an option now and only single Dev points are the incentive?

Does anyone know the newest incentives for Sept.?

I only ask because I am in NEBRASKA and the stupid rules in my state will not allow disney to talk to me regarding this matter.....I'd have to be in WDW to find anything out. It is very frustrating.

Thanks in advance.

We just signed our contract last night. We were offered 10% off our total price or double points for the first year. We took the 10% and added it to our down payment.

10%? That is better than $8. That is actually $10.40 per point! If that is true, that makes AKV $93.60 per point. Pretty good deal.

It was definitely 10%. I don't have our papers in front of me, but we "saved" over $1600.00 For us it just made sense, since we're already in our 50% banking window. I didn't see us using 160 points by the end of February. Our purchase was an impulse buy since we really didn't go to Disney yesterday with any intention of doing this. We stay on Disney property so often it really seemed like a no brainer. We'll see what happens on Tuesday when I try to book a few stays. If we don't like what we hear, we have until next weekend to cancel.

Which resort did you purchase at SSR or AKV?
Did they explain to you that initial purchases they waive the normal banking window rules and allow you to bank up to 100% of your current UY points into next year? Typically they give you up until your closing which is a couple of months away.
How many points did you purchase?

I wonder if that was SSR. I purposely "started" the process of adding-on at AKV on 8/31 to allow for a rewrite of the contract in Sept should there be a new deal offered that was better than double dev points at $104.

In regards to this, we recently talked to MS about this and they did mention that there is some lead way as to the 100% banking window for new members who buy in and are close to (and I am assuming past) the last day to do a 100% banking of points. I would think that if you had any issues in doing so, talking to a team leader would get things cleared up.

We are currently considering an add-on, and our guide told us if we get the 2006 points that the banking rules are waived and we can bank them even though we will be passed our window. So, I would think the same would apply to a new purchase - only seems to make sense.

I just looked at our paperwork. We have until the end of October to bank 50%. We signed at SSR. Dues were lower and we liked its location to DTD. While AKL is beautiful, it is far from the parks.

Anyone else purchase in Sept at SSR? We are likely going to buy when we are down there at the end of the month. I would love to know ahead of time what the offers are... Any variations or choices? Thanks, Marriedmyprince

Is this the confirmed September price? 104 - 10% = 93.60????

Does anyone have the details of new prices and incentives?????

Thanks!

The OP did indicate they purchased SSR. So, the dollar off deal is more in line with their $10 per point discount. It wasn't clear how many points they bought, but all things being equal, it only sounds like the $8 and $10 discount offers still exist. The IP and DIP did seem to change now that we are in Sept, with DIP at SSR and IP at AKV.

I am in the process of doing an add-on at SSR, just got in on the last day to get the double DPs. I emailed my guide to ask what the incentive was for September and she replied "There is no new incentive. Sometimes we have great incentives, sometimes we have none....."

I just got back from my DVC cruise. On board, I added 100 SSR points to my SSR Oct UY. I had to buy a minimum of 100 pts to get $10 off. Then they gave me 200 pts, 100 for '06 and 100 for '07. I thought Tom ( sales rep on board ) told me that I can bank all of these points to use for '08. I spoke to a MS and they told me I can't bank my '06 for next year. Makes sense but the reason I added was because I thought I can bank the 200 for '08. I'm soo confused. I'll have to call my rep.

The deal was $10 per point discount not 10%. That was for SSR & $8 per point for AKV.

Hi

Did a tour today and was offer $10 off SSR and $8 of AKL plus Single points for 07. They are in the april use year? Has anyone been offered double points this month??
