We will be at OKW/CSR on Oct 6-12. We will only be at WDW for 10-6 to 10-8. I would like to coordinate a Pal Mickey Swap. Please read the entire post below and then email me if you are interested.

We will all share the cost of a new PM $60 (which includes tax) -the amount per day which will be determined when I have a list of dates and participants. I am hoping to keep this around $2 a day. Pal Mickey will have a tag attached with my name and phone number to contact should he be lost.
As hostess, I will organize the swap by collecting names, phone numbers, dates and location of Pal Mickey throughout the swap, and money for the Pal Mickey. I am looking into finding an off-site DISer to babysit Mickey if we should have open spots.
Rules-
1. While Pal Mickey is in your care he must never be left in a stroller or otherwise unattended. He is your charge and responsibility.
2. If Pal Mickey is lost... I hate to even think about it. He will have a tag with my phone number on him. Please report him lost at Lost and Found, and contact me right away. If he should get lost I think it is fair that the person in possession of him will have to pay to replace him.
If anyone has any concerns please PM me. I am the emergency contact person if a hand off fails or there are any other issues everyone will have my cell #.
3. If anything should happen to PM while in the parks and he is not working correctly, please take him for a check up at any store that sells him, the clerks will examine him, re-program him if necessary and if none of that works they will determine if they can replace him. Someone else reported that Disney determined that he needed a replacement even without their asking and had a very nice experience at the Emporium at MK. He will be in a bag with his receipt so this hopefully shouldnt be too difficult.
4. Bring your own batteries for PM.
5. The first DISer on the list is responsible for purchasing the Pal Mickey. I'll collect the money orders and send the first DISer the money for the new PM along with his bag, tag, and swap list.
I'll need dates you want to borrow Mickey and where you will be staying. Once I get the calendar filled, I'll set up contact lists so you can contact your swap buddies to arrange the swap locations. Also, once the list is filled, I'll send all a deadline by which the money must be sent. No refunds will be issued for a trip cancellation, change or swap miscommunication.
6. Hand off will be worked out between the people handing him off, hand offs should be on WDW grounds unless both parties agree to another location.
7. He will also need to be cleaned, and I think the original swappers have said they will use nap wipes. At the end of the swap, we will donate Pal Mickey to GKTW (Give Children The World).

Full name, hotel/resort check in and out dates, a contact phone number, and if you have drop off/pick up plans tell me those too. I will reply with mailing address info. That way I can keep track of whom I still need info from.
I will be the main contact person for Mickey and put both my cell phone number and home telephone number on his ID tag. I should be reachable even if he is lost in the parks.
In Mickey's little bag will be a complete list of who has him and where they are staying. With any luck we will never need any of that contact info, but it is good to have just in case!
