September/October 2007 Code, Discount and Rates Watch

We are back to here We had planned on 11/25-12/3 (thats what was booked) so we could do the Christmas for the kids. But I just found out Typhoon Lagoon is closed during that time for refurb. I thought I had saw it was BB... but checked again and its TL That is our kids all time favorite park! better than MK! So we are changing back to 10/3-10/12. Right now I have 2 rooms at POP for $664 a room for 9 nights with my AAA discount

Hi fterie4u, we are going Sept 28- Oct 7. We are staying at POFQ. I can't wait. I've never been this time of year.

We have gone this time of year fo rthe past 3 years, this will be our 4th! We LOVE this time of year. The crowds are not too bad and the Food & Wine Festival is great! Also, we have done MNSSHP twice and loved it! It is a great time of year to go! You will have fun, enjoy!

Alright...we are now officially on the Oct code watch! Book for Oct 13-16. So far we just have AAA, but am hoping for FL resident's discount! Bring it on!

I'll be there Oct. 19-21 for the F&WF and it'll be my birthday weekend!! I'm so hoping for a code or FL ressie discount! The two nights right now are coming out to $225 and I know I can get better!

We've only been to Disney a few times and have always paid full price. How/where do you find the discounts? We are planning to go in Oct. or Nov. and any discount would really help.

Also keep an eye on mousesavers.com where the latest codes will be posted as soon as they come out. There are a limited number of rooms for each code, so be sure to call Disney reservations as soon as you see a discount code for the dates of your visit.

You can also call Central Reservations and ask - you need to ask - if you are a member of AAA...

You can sometimes get a room only rate with AAA - and if you price out that and tickets, individually, you can save. You can't do the dining though...

I called CRO and was able to book a AAA rate through them. Discount was off each night- for every night of my stay.

If you want a package you need to contact a AAA travel agent. If you are booking a AAA room only you can call CRO.

Pm me if you need the name of a AAA agent. We are planning our 2nd AAA trip, it has been great both times. If a code comes out that is better than the AAA rate they can apply it for you if there is availability. That is what I did last year, it saved me another $75ish per room.

Me too! We are first time AP holders (We got them 2 weeks ago) and would really like to experience a deluxe!

Me too. We are currently staying at POFQ but I REALLY want the BC/YC. I am really hoping for an AP discount or something since I am missing the free dining by just a couple days. Does anyone know if there were AP discounts last year? Either before, after or during the free dining promotion?
