September, Oct, Nov?

You can check out this site, which will give you really good recommendations based on crowds, weather, etc: http://www.intercot.com/infocentral/weather/whentovisit.asp

fyi..October is a great time to go because you have Mickey's Halloween Party (MK), and Food & Wine Festival (EPCOT). But crowd levels do get slightly higher because of this. Temps can get into the mid-upper 80s. Regular season rates apply to resorts.

November is great too (BEFORE Thanksgiving)....slightly cooler temps (upper 70s, low 80's) crowd levels are very low. Also you start seeing Christmas decorations throughout the resorts and parks. Value season resort rates apply for the most part except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Haven't been there in September...

Hope that helps.

We are going this November so I will be interested in reading some of these responses!

We went last year in September. (like the 20-28th)
There were no crowds but it was MUCH hotter than our previous visits in May. I thought it was very humid too. (and I do enjoy the heat) Everyday it was 90 and humid. It only rained 1 out of 8 days so I think that is pretty good. The best part was NO LINES!!The longest line we waited for was the jungle cruise at 20 minutes (I still don't know why it took so long!) Everything else was walk-on or 5-10 minute waits--excellent!!!:wave2:

we went last november 14-19th and i loved the weather!!! i've been in sept and jan as well but i like november the best. warm enough to swim but you aren't melting during the day!

crowds very very low as well, we went on TOT twice in a row with absolutely no lines!! and this was midday!

I'm making my first trip to Disney in September. I keep hearing that crowds are low and I'm hoping this is true. I also heard that the parks close earlier. Anyone have any info about park hours in Sept. Also am thinking of seeing Fantasmic......is this appropriate for a 2 year old???

Thanks in advance...............:jester:

We are going November 16-22. Since we will be leaving the monday before Thanksgiving, do you think it will be getting crowded that weekend before we leave? Has anyone been at this time before.
I've gone right after Thanksgiving before and the weather was great and the crowds were thinning out. I'm hoping that we are not making a mistake going right before this time.

We were there the week before you last September and had the same experience. Never did get on the Jungle Cruise because of the 20 minute wait. We were spoiled by all the walk ons-even Splash Mountain & Test Track!!

We've planned our trip this year for Sept 19-26 and are hoping for similar crowds. Being from North Carolina, we are used to heat & humidity so it doesn't really bother us. Only had 1 rain shower the whole week last year, 15 minutes total.

Other trips have been in May & we won't be going back then. Too crowded for us::yes::
