I SO wish we could be there but the kids and I will be at universal until late that night- we’ll be thinking of you guys though! Hope we get lots of chances to meet!

Damien was denied his vacation request. But he is getting some overtime because 2 sergeants left his shift. Good since we have to pay for a new fridge (remember ours stopped working in Pigeon Forge). The RV fridge costs more than our home fridge.

What are you doing for a refrigerator? We replaced the crappy gas/electric one in our 5er with a Furrion 12 volt compressor style. Much bigger inside and would cool from 80 to 32 in 2 hours. Not cheap, but considerably better then the "evaporative" LP/electric ones in most RVs.

We are just sticking with what we have...a Dometic. But the price tag we were quoted for the fridge was $2498.19. I have no idea how much the labor is going to be on that. Our appointment is in November (the soonest they could get us in). In the meantime, I will look into your model.

WOW!

The Furrion was about $1700 after I got the fancier door panels. ($1550 for the base model) I installed it, so no labor for me, but they aren't hard to install. It took longer to pull a heavier gauge wire than the actual refrigerator install.

A mere few days away! Since there aren’t many of us there, for the meet night we will just plan to have a few snacks and finger foods available vs trying to do a full potluck.

Got the camper back Friday so now just to cross our fingers we get the golf cart fixed. Problem is, now we have to take 2 vehicles down to get the golf cart down.

I just had a conversation with one of my younger IT staff yesterday about fax machines. He didn't realize anyone used them today and thought they only existed in museums.

I guess that explains the state of Disney IT.

I apologize for my lack posting as of late. Many things needed to be done with MIL passing away, and work has been crazy.
Please keep hands, arms & feet inside the ride, it's gonna gonna be a doozie.
Left the house at 10am. Accident and construction on I65 in Indiana.
8 hour ride became 10 1/2.
Currently at Dad's Bluegrass Campground in Franklin KY. Little snug but very nice layout

Just crossed the Florida state line! Driving for about 90 more minutes then calling it quits for tonight. Tomorrow we check in to the Kissimmee KOA- we’re going to check out the wax museum and the aquarium tomorrow afternoon. Then arriving early Sunday to the Fort and crossing our fingers we get a site close to 1433 (very special site to us) I’m trying to figure out the picture thing but I’m also having the issue of my pictures posting sideways
