September hours?

Thanks for your replies. The make a wish foundation is sending my son and our whole family to Disneyworld in sept. from the 14th to the 24th. He is very excited about this so is the rest of the family. The kids will miss some school but that should be no big deal. I doubt we will ever be able to get back there since we live so far away.

They don't seem to be complete with parades and fireworks yet (I hope). The only parade listed is the Stars & Motorcars at the Studios, and the only fireworks are Fantasy in the Sky at MK (Saturdays, Mondays, and the first two Sundays).

Illuminations and Fantasmic aren't listed although looking at Epcot's and the Studio's hours, I assume they will still be held as usual since the parks are open late every night.

Interesting that the MK is open until 10 on the 27th (which is also my first day at WDW). Hopefully, that will mean Spectromagic for that night at least.

I am utterly pleased and excited with the hours for September at this moment in time. I will be disappointed if they are shortened between now and then, but they are longer than I had hoped and planned for, so I am thrilled!!

Can't wait!!

I'm fairly pleased with September hours so far although we all know we'll see changes as the month gets closer.

We're going Labor day and at least that Thursday, it's open till 8:30 so we'll see some after dark hours. That Friday and Sat, it closes at 6 for Night of Joy. Maybe they decided that with that event going on, they would give regular guests some after dark hours before that.

Now if we'll just see an E night during our stay, we'll be THRILLED!

I like the MGM hours too.

The hours do look pretty good. I had pulled out my maps from our trip in late Sept of '99 and the hours are about the same. Now if we could just get an e-night in there it would be perfect.
