Just got an e-mail from All-Seas and DCL has announced FL Resident rates for the 4 September sailings of the Magic. Hope they extend them to October when we're booked! :bounce:

Anyone know the FL resident promotional code to enter on the Disney site so we can look at the rate with the discount? I'm curious but don't want to bug a travel agent about it. Thanks.

:jumping1: FRR!!!!!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!! :thewave: I've already emailed my TA! Thanks for the heads up! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Lisa702, it is tempting huh? I am sooooo afraid of another hurricane. :confused3 I am going to check it out too. Last years prices were so GOOD!

We are already booked on the 9/03/05 Magic. Hoping to be able to upgrade as we are booked into an inside right now. The hurricanes could come whether we sail or not, I guess, but THIS year we have travel insurance! FL certainly doesn't need anymore hurricanes anytime soon as there is still so much in chaos. And can you believe ALL this rain we are getting!!???? :umbrella:

Sounds Great! I like it when they announce FL resident rates, even thought I'm not a FL resident. Usually military rate discounts are not far behind. :)

Some good rates...Now if I only didn't have to do that working thing.

Spoke to them last week and they said they were releasing for the 7 day but so far not the Wonder. I'm booked for Sept 8 and would love to get the discount. Still keeping the fingers and toes crossed.

Lisa, the rain has been awful! I want Wonder Fl rates to come out as well. I have a high schooler, a middle schooler and a grade schooler so it is really difficult for all of them to miss school. School starts here in south florida in August.

I would jump at a chance to book a weekend cruise at such low rates. And just like other "hurricane" veterans, I will never go without insurance again!

:cool1: Skye DD6 starts school at the beginning of August but since its 1st grade :) and its a long holiday weekend she'll miss just 4 days. As she gets older we won't be able to let her miss too much school. My DS Michael 24 just permanently moved to Germany and next year I'd like to visit him and I know I absolutely cannot afford summer airfare so I guess she'll be missing school again!

Lisa, I wish we had been able to meet on our infamous cruise last September. I am so glad you are getting to try again. My mom is German and you will LOVE Germany. Very beautiful. It is so hard to for older kids to miss school, the teachers have no sympathy. At least not the teachers my kids have.

We have visited Michael when he was stationed at Ramstein AFB and he met the "reason" he has relocated there. Her name is Julia and a lovely girl. We also met her family but I forget the name of the village they live in. Its near Landau.
I am sorry we never met either. What a fast 3 days that was huh? And chaotic!
Oh just remembered.......she lives in Am Semmersberg or was that the name of her street?...... :confused3 I turn 41 in a couple days so thats my excuse for a poor memory! :rotfl2:

We are booked on the Magic in Sept. I spoke to my TA yesterday and she said that this FL Resident Special is only available on new bookings. Last year we took advantage of the FL Resident specials and upgraded from a cat. 10 to a cat. 5/verandah for only $100 extra. I'm not giving up yet!!

I just upgraded from a Cat 10 to a Cat 6 using FRR. :cheer2:

So it wasn't a problem even if you had an existing reservation? I was nervous about the "new bookings only" reference.

Thanks for the link, mike2beach, I'm keeping up with 2005 sept discounts just as a reference for 2006 sailings.
