September Exercise Challenge - Don't FALL away from exercise!

I'll join in.

Did 60 minutes on the Wii Fit this morning and tonight and also did a BL workout this morning so 80 minutes for today.

I did about 60 minutes yesterday and 30 minutes on Saturday.

My goal is to do at least 60 minutes a day for the rest of the month between the Wii Fit, WATP, and BL workouts. So I should get at least 1000 minutes this month. I also did an hour total on Thursday and Friday last week.

9/10-30 mintues
9/11- 30 minutes
9/12- 30 minutes
9/13 - 60 minutes
9/14- 80 minutes

I'm new to this, but here's how I figured out mine little goal of 500 minutes.
Since I've only been exercising 1-2 times a week, I decided to aim for 3 times a week of 40minutes for 120/week. And there's 4 weeks in the month so 480 minutes, and then I just rounded it up to a more even number.


So far I'm at 180/500:goodvibes

thanks, I think I will do mileage to minutes. It's 1235 miles from here to WDW, that's 412 miles (rounded up) a month until we leave. I can then convert those into minutes. I think that is a good goal, right?
 
BAMB - I think your goal sounds great! And if you get going regularly with exercising, you can always increase it and get to WDW faster:goodvibes

I finally made it back to DIS. Still have hives, seem to be fewer, but larger & itchier & over larger areas.....lucky me! Dermatologist on Monday, Allergist on Thursday next week. Hopefully one of them will have a clue. I'm quite concerned about being off the Zyrtec for a week & then not even benadryl for 48 hours. Concerned....well, more like worried sick....oh well....

I've made it walking a few times, worn my Bugg a few days, but seem to now be allergic to the metal plates on it...go figure. All I want to do is EAT, EAT, EAT!!

Off Topic but maybe I can help in some way with hives?
I have chronic hives.. I've had them for just over a year and only on my legs but they drive me nutty! I too went to a dr. and allergist and they weren't much help at first. Actually, the allergist just tested me with needles and gave me meds that didn't work. However, when I went back to my primary care doctor, he recommended a mix of zyrtec (which I had been taking for seasonal allergies and help somewhat) and famotidine- the generic name for pepcid. Now pepcid is normally a stomach medicine, but it also has the little known effect of helping with hives! As long as I remember to take both, I'm okay, but if I forget either, I am itching like crazy! Hope that helps- maybe you can bring it up to your dr.
 
I had a great 2 days by accident...I signed up to chaperone a field trip for my daughter, and it turned out it was a LOT of walking!!!! About 2 hours worth!!!

I got in 30 minutes this morning. I thought I would really rack up the minutes today because I was supposed to be filling in for the gym teacher, but I got switched to special ed at the last minute.

I am at 857/1200..............P
 
Goal for Sept is in! I'm at 1800/1800 with 6 more days to go! Hopefully I will keep up the pace for the rest of the month. I'd like a strong finish, mostly because I'll need it to burn off all the carbs/calories I've been eating! :earseek:
