In the past, whether we were eligible or not, we have avoided the park with EMH. We would choose another park, and get there about 45 to 60 minutes ahead of opening. We would avoid the EMH park because of the imagined crowds.

This coming trip in September (a decidedly slower time) we are looking at taking advantage of EMH - will we still have to get to the gates a whole lot earlier than the EMH opening? I will be with nephews who are quite young, and I can't see me dashing to the rides with them - but I can't see them at the gate at the crack of dawn either.....or should we look at avoiding the EMH park? (no, no, I just gotta go to MK first!)

Thanks -

We've been in mid-late September, and crowds were light regardless of EMH. (Weekends picked up a bit, but not terribly so.) I would recommend arriving at park gates 15 minutes before opening time.
