September Crowds

Next Thursday (Sept 16th) the kids are out of school for a pupil free day and I was considering taking them for one day to get some use out of our AP.

We are in Ventura County. LA County only has the day off for half of the schools and Orange County (where DL is) does not have the day off...

What kind of crowds can I expect on a Thursday in September?

Aha! A local! I live in Simi Valley. What are the odds? Sorry, I digress. Anyways, since almost all kids are back in school, I would say you should be ok when it comes to crowds. I don't see it being a problem for you at all. Have a great time!..

My guess would be that lines will be real short.

Melora,
We live about 30 miles south of DL and my DD17 has both Thursday and Friday off (Jewish holidays?). But even with local schools out, I would think the parks will be pretty quiet.

Hope you decide to go, have a wonderful time:)

Thanks for the input everyone!

We are in Thousand Oaks so just a stones throw from you lap3.

I am hoping my husband thinks the same about the lines and says OK to going..... I havent been to DL since we bought our passes in January for my birthday and I really want to go!

I say just go and get some use out of those passes. I'm sure you'll have a great time... BTW, on an off topic discussion, too bad for the Little League team from TO. I was really pulling for them...
