September anyone?

We went in September the past two years, and we really had a good time. The crowds we not bad at all. Almost no wait on all the rides. I really enjoyed it.

I think September is one of the best times of year to go! The crowds (if you can call it that) are next to none (walked on almost every ride), the weather is great (cooler during the day and wonderful in the evenings), and most "seasonal" attractions are still open!

:hyper: I can't wait!!! :hyper:

Can't wait to join all of you September people! We will be there the 17th through the 25th staying offsite in a timeshare. This will be DD#1 (who is 5) 5th trip and DD#2 (who is one) 2nd trip! Yippee!!:bounce:

Kelly

How do I get to Tour Guide Mike's website to see the hours?

We are going 9/10-9/20. I can't wait for it to get here, but almost afraid it will come and go too fast. Only about 64 more days! Waiting for AP discounts for the AS. See you there!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I have NEVER wished the summer away before, but, I just can't STAND it this year- the summer is d r a g g i n g a l o n g ..........

I can't wait for Sept. 22/27 at AKL CL. My DH told me he just wishes the trip was over so he can get on with his life

Little does he know I am looking into booking a Disney cruise for next Spring::yes::

So the Disney attitute will NEVER end :hyper:

I booked the Sunrise Safari as a surprise for him and the

pirate: cruise for my DS5.

Still thinking of something special for my 2 DD 16. They don't want to go either. Told me they will be 16 they want to stay home alone for the week NO WAY

To old for the Tea to young for the nightlife. HMMM

any Ideas??

fran,

I assume you've been to Disney before? Would you feel comfortable allowing your daugthers to go to a park on their own during the day and meet you somewhere after a few hours? Maybe that will make them feel more grown up?

My parents would allow me and my sister to do that when we got older. We went once or twice a year ever since they opened, so we knew the parks (only MK and later Epcot back then) really well and my parents felt safe with us there. (As a matter of fact, my senior year, when all my friends were going to Cancun, my parents and a friend's parents sent us to Disney - with the rule that we were "never to leave the World" - they felt it was a much safer option!

I wanted to book the pirate cruise for all 3 of our kids, but I figured dh and would have nothing to do for such a short time- not long enough to go to a park or anything.......

I can't wait for sept! We're there the 11th-18th. 1st time for both our sons. We booked the pirate: cruise for our 4 year old! He is sooo excited he is going to meet Buzz Lightyear. :bounce: :bounce:

YAYYY!!!! Only little less than 76 days to go...LOL is it too early to start counting the hours? 9/22-29 AKL CL switching to YC or Poly after first 2 nites. September is way tooooooo far away.

My DD(9) and I are going in September (17-24) and are staying at Pop Century. We can hardly wait!!! This is our first trip to WDW!!

I talked to Disney today to make PS reservations and she had the hours available. I wish I'd written them down to share - what was I thinking????? I wish I had them too!!

See you there!!

September 4th-11th at POP! Cannot WAIT!!

We have booked the Gathering Magic Kingdom Cruise, an Illuminations Cruise, Breakfast with Cinderella, dinner at Chef Mickey and we are thinking about a Fantasmic Dinner Package (even though you don't really need it that time of year).

I am so excited I could just burst! I AM wishing away the summer and counting down the days....

2 Days till Destin
25 Days til DD6 starts 1st Grade
44 Days till DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY!!! Come on counter...click them off!

ME, ME, ME!!!! I can't wait. We will be there September 11-19. I am starting to get so excited.

Just 48 more days to go (although they seem to be dragging on longer the closer I get!!!)

9/10-18 at Boardwalk Villas!!! Can't wait!!!! This is about #50 for me, but DD's 1st (she's 8 months now). Got my PS' ready to go, so we're set!

(Thankfully, I have gigs of WDW video on my PC to keep me going until I go!!)

Come over and say "Hi" if you see me there (Ill be the guy in the DisneyWorldTrivia.com t-shirt!) If you have a copy of my book with you, show it to me and I'd be happy to sign it for you and give you a free gift! :earseek:

My first trip back in four years, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

DS4 was 8 months old last time, and this is DS2's first trip!

We are going Sept 25-30 for a conference that DH has at the Dolphin! I can't wait, except we have to leave DS here at home. :( It is his first year in middle school and he will have been in school for only 2 weeks before we leave. He told me if Stitch is open, I can't go on it without him.

DD, almost 3, and I will be there 9/14 - 9/22 staying at WL. This is a first trip to WDW for us. We went to DLR last year and had a lot of fun but WDW will be so much more from what I've been reading. I am so ready for summer to be over now that I have this to look forward too. Luckily, I have these boards to help relieve some of the impatience of waiting.

Bode - I'm also a single parent traveling with just DD. I think the best advice I've found is to make sure to allow for plenty of time to rest/relax midday. I've got 3-4 hour breaks in our daily schedule to have us either nap - I'm sure I'll be ready for one on a couple of days - or swim to help get a break from the heat. As for creating a schedule, I'm not making it so detailed I list things down to a 15 minute increment but it's more a basic list of which park, PS, etc. for each day along with the hours for that park, the attractions we don't want to miss. I think this will really help keep us organized enough that we arrive ontime to PSs, hit all the "must do" attractions and still have a lot of flexibility that I know we'll need to accomodate an almost 3 yo.

Oh yeah, make sure to offer a "potty break" before you get in line ;).

Today is DH's birthday and it marks the 50 days to vacation spot on the Mickey Mouse calendar that DD #1 (5years) and I made! We are getting SO close!!! Yippee!! September 17th through 25th in the World here we come (we are at our beach resort 50 days from now)! DD#2 has been to the world once at 4 months but she has no idea what is in store for her and after DD#1 having such a GREAT time at 17 months (DD#2 will be 17 months when we go) I am so so so excited! I know that some of you guys are a couple of weeks closer than we are so get the pixie dust flying, last minute detailing! I'm hoping to read some trip reports from the first weeks before we go :p

Kelly, Dan, Grace, & Madelyn
......:wave2:... :earsboy: ... princess:...

We'll be rollin' back to "the world" for a second go round on Sept 25th...Got "an offer we couldn't refuse" .. Carribean Beach Resort for a week!

Us guys, me & 11 yr old, got a 1/2 day planned @ the 3-d vidio game place at "disneyquest"..."The Chicks" may never get us out of that place!
