Our family returns to the Poly........September 12 - 19. We cannot wait. We went last September with 10 people and had a blast. This time there will be 7 of us. I know we will miss the other 4 this trip, but can't be helped.

lucy_love_ we'll be there at the same time as you but only 7 actual days in Orlando. I also have two girls with about the same age difference between them, but they are DD#1 who's 5 (turning 6 in Dec) and DD#2 who will be 17 months. I know your girls are excited! Have a great time, I'll be on the look out for some lime green!

Hi ALWAYSEEYORE, we will be at POP the 4th thru 11th, too!!

Staying preferred, prob dumb that time of year to pay extra when you can probably get the room you want anyway, but trying to cover all our bases. Maybe we will see you at the pool!

We will be at the Caribbean Beach from Sept 12-18. It will be my 16 month olds first trip and my wifes first time on property. My first time on property since 1982 when I was 7.

im sorry im fairly new here and dont know what lime green is. what is it?

its a nice age gap between the two girls. mine get on really well. the older one is very sensible and the little one takes her lead. they have very different personalities though. what are your two like? oh and they are both very excited. so am i though. you too have a great time.

Amazing how time passes so quickly....... I started this thread by celebrating my 80 mark and it is now down to 44 days!!!

Winefest @ Epcot and Fri Oct 1st starts "Mickys' not so scary Halloween party" @ MK..ya gotta make reservations..

A good combination of the two could make this trip one for the ages!.

The kids r gonna dress up, but I hope to surprise the little wife with a Malificent custume................for her, not me!...sickos'

Hi, Lime green is the official color of the DISboards, and you display it somewhere on your group/stroller/person, so that you might run into a fellow DISer! I also am loving the age gap between my 2 as DD#1 is so mature and is understanding and helpful when #2 needs help with something, has a meltdown, or just when we are getting ready to go somewhere she's a big help. DD# 1 is calm and well mannered, whereas DD# 2 is energized all of the time, but has started to display some shyness around strangers which DD#1 never did, they are both very physically active and love to run and play together. They are complete opposites so far in alot of ways, but when they do play together it is priceless! I am just waiting to see how they "do" disney together as DD#1 has been 4 times already and DD#2 has been once but she was only 4 months so they haven't really experienced the magic together!

I am so excited, we have added an extra day at the beach before we arrive just so we can start feeling the magic a day sooner (we start feeling the magic when we walk out of the door together on the way to vacation)!

about my two dd's

dd1 is very sensible calm and intelligent.
dd2 is very energetic pesky and cute.

kelscross- I have started cleaning the house. I am determined to spend the entire last week we are home on nothing but getting ready for our trip. I say this everytime and still end up running around like a nut! We will be the one's at the pool with the 3 kids who are continuously going down the slide. DS is 10, DD is 9 and DS will be 8 right before we leave. Hope to see you poolside.
