Please Tell me the Good and the bad about going in September we may switch to the begging of March. I'm not sure all the rain will be very pleasent we are scheduld for POP Sept 11th to the 18th. We like the water parks.

I'd stick with the Sept. dates, it doesn't rain everyday in Sept! And who knows this maybe a dry year, not having the crowds is reason enough to go. March can sometimes be iffy also and it also brings ALOT of spring breakers since different areas of the country go at different times. I would defineately go in Sept. especially if you like the water parks because it was still be hot then. Just like everyone says it rains alot in Sept. it can sometimes still be cold down here in March!

September is great... if you love rain. We went to WDW the first week in September and it poured for hours and hours every day but one. And Typhoon Lagoon was MOBBED!!!

On the other hand, there were absolutely no waits in any line except Jungle Cruise. The parks closed extra early that week (MK at 5pm!) so that may or may not be a problem for you. We covered everythng in a shorter period of time, so did not need the extra hours. (Extra time to enjoy the resort restaurants or Epcot!)

Hi--

We went for the first time last Sept. Second trip was last week. I much preferred Sept. NO crowds!! Much more magical and lots more attention for the kids. It only rained twice, very briefly, while we were there in Sept. I'd go for the low crowds.

NO lines. If i does rain, it is usually only an hour or so and thats it.

We have been before in Sept (it has been a few years - now our favorite time to go is Jan) and it was great. VERY low crowds. It is warm enough to swim. It did rain, but only in the afternoon and usually didn't last long. Between Sept and March, I would choose Sept - March is just to iffy about crowds.

This will be my 4th Sept trip and I love to go durning Sept. ***IF*** it rains it usually does not last more then 45 minutes to an hour. One trip I remember going into Honey I shrunk the Audience and it was pouring outside and when I came out the rain had stopped and there was a huge rainbow that I have a picture of as my wallpaper on my computer. Within minutes of the rain ending the walkways were dry because it was still between 80-85 degrees.
I vote for Sept where you can do twice as much because of low attendance even though hours may be shorter.

I hope all of these responses for Sept will give you enough info to stay with Sept.

We love going in Sept. Last year we were there for 15 days and there were barely any lines until the last 2 days and NO rain until our last day! We are very sad now that our son is school age and we will not be able to go in Sept. We just do not want to pull him out of school during the first couple of weeks.

OOOOHhhhhhh, I vote September. My FAVORITE time to go. We literally walked right onto POC! Not only that, but we walked right onto BUZZ and never had to get off (no one waiting) and the CM let us ride over and over until we just got over it!!

There is alot more interaction with the characters too, because we rarely have to wait for more than 2 or 3 kids in front of us!!

We walk down Main Street and almost feel like we have the place to ourselves! ;)

We love going in September for all the reasons everyone has already mentioned - low crowds, lower temps (but warm enough to swim), etc. We've rarely encountered more than a brief shower. The only negatives are the parks close earlier, which means some of the parades and fireworks are limited to only a night or two a week. But we can plan around that!

Been in Sept. the weather was great and crowds low, it didnt rain but we caught the end of the love bugs, Maybe the locals can give you a better description of these but I guess they dont bite but they are everywhere.

Thanks we are staying with Septeber. Thanks for all the Help. We booked for Pop Century there is just two of us so the size of the room will be fine and we got flights on southwest for 350.00 Round Trip. Just have to pay balance of hotel and order Hopper passes and Q&Q Vocuhers and breakfest Vouchers.
Thank so Much again KELLY

Our third Sept trip this year ....We love the low crowds, it is hot but manageable and the crowds are so low it spoils you for other times of the year...

Kelly, thanks for posting this thread. My DH has a conference at the Dolphin the last week of September and I just booked our room! :Pinkbounc This thread made me very excited. Now I need to go make another countdown!

Edit for spelling - I am just too excited now!
