september adrs still??

Hey guys....ooooh here we go...
DBFF and I are changing our plans somewhat for our trip during free dining in Sept. In otherwords, I may have to change some of our adr's (I know, I know), has anyone tried changing or booking new ADR's for september? For last year's trip they were set in stone by March! I'm unsure now! Thanks for any help you may have!

I thought about changing one of our ADR's , but I'm being wishy washy right now. I'm almost too scared to call and try . Good Luck, it sure can't hurt to give them a call!!

I made a new ADR the other day for mid-September and there were still ADR's to be had. (Just not the times I wanted. ) So, yes, it's not a lost cause, but be prepared to be flexible.

It seems that all the restaurants in MK and in the resorts right around MK are booked completely solid. With that said, however, I have been offered spots at Maya Grill and Garden Grove (I think that's the name of it anyway), but we want to stay right around MK.

I just called last week to switch around a couple of ADR's for 2 weeks from now. Sci-Fi Dine-In was booked for the day/time we wanted, but I got 50s Prime Time and Marrakesh with my choice of times. I think as long as you're not trying for the "popular" places you might have good luck.

On the other hand, several months ago I tried to book a meal anywhere in the MK for Sept. 2nd and had no luck whatsoever, most of the restaurants on the monorail line were booked as well. We did get 'Ohana, but it's for 4pm -- very early for dinner!

It never hurts to try! You can always call and see what's available, and they won't cancel your existing ADRs until they get something new booked for you. If you can't find anything you like, you can just keep what you have.

I guess it depends in how popular the restaurants are. I've been trying for a long time to change Le Cellier from lunch to dinner, no luck (and we'll be two days at Epcot), also been trying to change Liverty Tree Tavern and Ohana, and it's all booked.
But for the less-popular restaurants, you maybe lucky.

Fri, Sep 14 Chef Mickey's at 2:30 PM
Fri, Sep 14 'Ohana at 5:15 PM
Sat, Sep 15 Donald's Breakfastosaurus at 10:20 AM
or
give up our Wed, Sep 12 Spirit of Aloha category 1 seats for 5:15 PM

I tried to get WCC or Concourse for our trip in 2 weeks and all they have had is 9:40pm. Everything else booked! I took the 9:40 at Concourse since our other meal of the day is Crystal Palace Breakfast and with a small snack in the middle of the day we will be very hungry by 9:40pm.

Yes, there are ADR's to be had, but not the choice restaurants or times. I was having an issue getting ADR for Ohana for a month, but after calling daily we finally caught a cancellation!

I have been trying to add dinner at Ohana on Fri or Sat Sept 7 or 8 with no luck. i am going to keep calling but we are staying at the poly so i am thinking that i may have better luck with guest services cm when we get there. all of my other adrs have been set in stone since 180 days out...we just didn't consider Ohana until recently. Anyone want to give up their dinner at Ohana on those dates??? pm me if you do!

I've had the hardest time..don't know what I was thinking not making them months ago when I first booked. I booked the things that I knew would be hard to get but now I'm stuck with a few days with no ADR's at all booked..ugh

We just added a day to our reservation (9/8) last week. My first choice for a dinner ADR was Wolfgang Puck Cafe, but all I could get was 4 PM or 9:30 PM. My second choice of Spoodles got me one at 5:30 PM. Just be a little flexible and have alternatives in mind when you call in. They can't really do an "anything at 7 PM" type of search, but they can check at specific restaurants or areas.
I thought we would have no chance at all, but was pleased to get my second choice, even if it was more than an hour earlier than I wanted. Now we have time to relax on our last evening at OKW!

see DBFF was originally going to come with me for half the trip and has now decided that she wants to stay the whole time so I was going to change my ADRs so we can eat together...Hopefully she'll find out her plans by ther end of the week so I get moving! At least we're there with free dining right at the end (we check in Sept. 21 and you have to check in by the 22!) and they're for the end of the trip so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks guys!
