Just made reservations for our 23rd anniversary. We are coming without kids (first time doing anything w/o kids - DD13 and DD8 are staying with Grandma).
Wish we could do longer than a 3 day, but work gets in the way. We were on the Magic in January, and really enjoyed it. We were unable to get ressies for Palo online due to our late signup - what night would you recommend for Palo on the 3 day?

We missed Tritons both times due to Palo ressies, and will be missing AP this time.Twice is enough.I like the menu better in PC than AP. Just my preference.
However we will be bringing wipes to PC as the last time my DH had the ribs they were all over him and the cloth napkins just don't do the job. :rotfl2:

Hi, ya'll. Just found this thread...We'll be onboard on 9/8 too. We'll be celebrating our DD's 5th b-day on 9/9. She doesn't know about our WDW vacation yet. We won't tell her until we land in Orlando. I can't wait to see the excitement on her face.

We're staying at the CB resort for 5 nights before the cruise. This is our first trip to WDW and our first cruise. Oh, by the way, DCL upgraded us from cat. 9 to cat. 6. I'm so excited...I can't wait.

Quick questions, which dining room is best for a kid's birthday and which one should we miss (I made a ressie for Palo's on 9/10)? I'm just wondering which dining rotation I should ask for.

I haven't received my docs yet. See ya'll onboard in 14 days!!!

kids b-day is either animators palette or parrot cay.Tritons is a more formal restaurant. My grandson and daughter both had their bdays around our cruise and they had the cake at ap.The kids were so excited to get back to the clubs we had a hard time keeping them for dessert. It's a cool show with all the changes going on in the dining room.
Congrats on your upgrade. We had that the first time too.
Hope we can all get together.......

   Joining in on the Doc Dance! :cheer2:

Anni - I'm bringing my pirate sword, we'll have to duel it out over Johnny Depp.

PrincessLuvers - what do you say, we "commodere" (nautical term) the ship and search for the Black Pearl ???? I'll get you a really big hat! pirate:

I hate to tell ya,but Johnny is being claimed already on the 4 day before us. ;) He may be tuckered out by the time the 3 day rolls around! :rotfl:

Aaaargh, sanddune you wench! pirate: Anni, I think she has us beat... how can we stow away on the boat 4 days earlier?

Don't want to sound like food is my main concern (in addition to Johnny Depp) BUT IT IS - when/where do we find out what order of resturaunts we are scheduled to eat at. Maybe we will run into eachother - right now I have late dinner but am hoping to change it to early - what dinner times do you all of you have??? I'm by myself so I am hoping they will be able switch me to earlier.

Anni we have main seating. But that could be 3 different times. The dinner rotation will be on your key to the world card.It will also have your table number on it.Forgot to tell you ,you get all of this at check in . Hope this helps.

we have the late seating. Our first cruise because we were traveling with children we had first seating. It worked out well for the kids as they went back to the clubs 7:30.But we found that after finishing lunch, by 6 we just weren't that hungry. We usually eat 7-8 on the nights I'm off. :moped:
Oh the one tip I got from the boards was to order the mickey bars and chese and fruit tray from room service at night for a snack. :mickeybar

we also have late seating, but are hoping to get changed to early with the baby (or use flounders at night :goodvibes )

my husband called to see what movies are playing and her eis what they told him:

a lot like love
the pacifier
howl's moving castle
national treasure
the incredibles
skyline
herbire rides again
ice princess
hitchhikers guide

i haven't even heard of some of these, but it seems like there are plenty of choices

Thanks for the movies post I was wondering what they where going to have..

We have late seating for our dinner, we tend to eat later in the day anyhow...

JD

We have main dining also. We requested to be at a large table (8?) so wouldn't it be a nice coincidence if there were an empty seat for Anni there?

And why am I feeling all of a sudden in a panic to get everything ready??? I 've had 6 months to prepare for heaven's sake. :confused3

:cheer2: Yay, Andrea M!

Princessluvers I'm sorry you are getting stressed. I haven't even packed for the 4 day. So you know the 3 days not done! ;)
