How important is the express pass if traveling during this time frame. Trying to decide if it's worth it to stay on site or not. It's our first Universal trip.

that weekend plus a few days into the next week normally is a low period.

but, who knows how the crowds will be now that HP2 will be opening up this
summer.


there are many school districts that do not return to school until after labor day.

if a weekend has decent weather, more locals do the parks on the weekends.


until hp2 opens and we see the touring ways of others, i have no idea if your time period will stay a quiet time as it has in the past.

As mentioned it normally is low...HOWEVER....Harry Potter expansion opens this summer, and there is NO way to know what or how that is going to change crowd patterns for the foreseeable future.I suspect normally low crowd times will definitely be busier then they usually are.

I was wondering the same thing about Late Sept 2014, but the expansion is the reason for our trip so I assumed crowds would be higher regardless.
