Glad we had an early flight. Just a little turbulence for a minute or two. We had lots of time to enjoy the pool at the Hyatt, it was gorgeous. After we came back from dinner we saw how bad the weather got

Something We learned when on the Wonder in March. There are movies on TV, on a schedule. However, we kept missing one we wanted. Guest service can arrange to have it shown in your room at a particular time! We got to see it at our convenience!

Same here we hit the pool early this morning. Later on this evening it was pouring down big time.

After dropping off dogs, dropping off a rental car at TPA, making a quick stop at the mall, traveling from the West coast of FL to the East coast, seeing some family for dinner, stopping at Ron Jon and doing a little shopping, now we're checked into the hotel and the family is tucked in and getting some rest here in Cocoa Beach. I can finally sit, relax, get on here and catch up with the group. Looking forward to everything this trip has to offer. 11 hours or so, we should be arriving at Port Canaveral!! It's here folks!! It's definitely here!!

Anybody have some check in tips? We have a PAT at 10:45-1100. We can't get there too much earlier than that probably. After we check in, what do we do? Do we have to wait until 1pm to board?

We've packed our bags and DCL will pick them up from our room at 8 am. We only have small carry on bags to worry about now, so I am relieved. (We had so much luggage before when we sailed from Copenhagen- packing for 12 day cruise, then a week in London- it was stressful lugging it around.) Much easier to have DCL deal with the big stuff. Yay!

So when booking I selected a check in of 11:30, I was told the earlier the better however our Magic Express Transfer doesn't leave the Resort until 11:45.

For those of you who know. Is there any problems with being late or who do I need to call because apparently my travel agent was a bit off on timing.

Same with our transport- I was also worried. But you should be fine. The check in time is merely to stagger the thousands of guests arriving. The ship won't leave until 4 pm. Try to get a good night sleep!

has anyone heard of any recent sea lice at castaway? I read about it in another group due to the water being warmer than usual from the storm.

We have only taken Disney transport once, but it is very nice. They let you into the terminal through a different door and you bypass the line at the bottom of the escalators.

There was a recent thread on the DCL cruise forum here. I think some were affected, some not, which really does not help. Kind of like who gets bit by mosquitoes!
If you have time check that board here, maybe there's more recent information.
