I don't have any first-hand experience with DVC as I'm not a member but I have heard others say that DVC tends to be slower in getting DCL docs out compared to DCL directly and other TAs.

Hopefully they're on their way and you'll have them by Monday!

We booked ours through a TA and don't have them yet. We leave on Sept. 3rd and fly home on the 11th.

I'm always curious how systems work. DCL's methodology on sending out documents has intrigued me.

We booked a last October and we received our documents about the same time we normally do, approximately 30 days out give or take. I'd love to know exactly how they sort and it all out. But, that would be like work! lol

I hope you all get your docs very soon.

I agree...there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the distribution. If it means anything to your logic, we booked at 62 or 63 days out. We also booked a guarantee cabin and when I called DCL this past Monday it had already been assigned.

hello guys. Rae, I think its awesome. I was whining, but i wasnt being seriously. I know what its like to meet cool people on a trip and travel with them again. thats really exciting!

We also got the REAS package today and ordered the Palo reservation for Sun or MOn night and then also the brunch. Exciting. Cant wait to meet you all!

Not sure if DW would be up for the Palo Brunch (she wasn't enamored with the food last time, but might like the opportunity to have a DIS meet). 10:30 on Sunday might be bad because that typically conflicts with the DVC members reception, but Monday would be great and I would love to do it if there was a place for me/us.

Doctor P: We didn't book on points, should we ask someone or just show up to the DVC reception? Never been to this onboard.

DVC used to have great receptions and meetings, but the last one we were at (when we were still members) wasn't that special.

Do you still have Debbie's phone number for the REAS? Please share it with me. I can't seem to find it! Last minute searching is driving me nuts!

Anyone check out the new menus? Dining themes?
Guess I need to do so!!!!! Ahhh, another little task ahead of me!

Just like to jump in a d say you can meet some great people on the cruise and make some life long friends. My DW and I went on the Magic last year Labor Day week just as we are this year. We developed a great freindship with one of the couples that was at our table during dinner last year. We have talked off and on all year and we decided to cruise again this year to celebrate or friendship. We look forward meeting and developing friendships with those we have been in contact with on this board.

I just called Disney and found out that I was upgraded from Cat 6 to Cat 4 - I did ask if I could get my stateroom 5622, but it was already booked.

Just glad to be on the ship!!
