We just got our room assignments for our cruise. We booked a Cat 11B and were upgraded to a 9B!!! Our MIL who is traveling with us was upgraded as well. We ate in connecting rooms 2054 and 2056. Perfect location IMHO. I love being close to the stairs because I never take the elevator on the cruise (That's my exercise). Some reports are that those rooms may have some noise from The Edge crowd but who cares. I'm thrilled with the upgrade anyone else ???

We just love the brunch because you can 'graze' through your time there and try things you wouldn't normally see or want to pay for in a restaurant.

The amazing choice of nibble type things as well as cooked meals is fantastic. A great experience and you will love it.

We have Palo brunch booked on Day 2 at 11 but were considering canceling. We've never done Palo for brunch so booked it just in case. We have Palo for dinner on Day 5. I'm worried we would miss the character breakfast and also wonder if that's too much food for early in the day???

Normally I don't workout on board (its always ben too hot) but because the weather will be so nice I may do some running outdoors and also lots of walking. Any others going to try and fit some exercise in???

Any Bingo fans?? We spent a LOT on Bingo our last cruise. The weather wasn't very nice and we lost a port day so we played every day. We did win about $500 and some fun prizes but overall we lost $$$. It was so fun though.

We booked an Inside Stateroom with Restrictions Category IGT, #GTY and haven't been assigned a room yet

For me, having a room assignment helps build the excitement. It is the first Disney Cruise for my MIL so his was a fabulous upgrade

The wedding cake our friends had for their DCL wedding was tasty. We haven't ordered a DCL bday cake. They will bring the little Disney celebration cake to the table automatically if a birthday is on your reservation (maybe anniversary too?). I don't know if they offer candles??

I'm not sure if the cake always hits the right day... I think the one year we traveled on Sabrina's bday it did?? Other trips we were celebarting birthdays that were slightly before/after the trip so the day didn't matter.

Sabrina turns 12 on Sept. 21, so I put "Birthday" on our reservation. I expect some random night the little cake will show up.

Thanks for sharing... I was booked with Enterprise which has a "pick up" service. Tonight I was looking at DISboards / Travel links and found a Costo Coupon and Free upgrade for Enterprise. I was going to rebook to get the lower price and better car, but it would still be $50.15 (for a Corolla). I'm switching to Advantage!!

Love a deal... That means more $$$ for the fun stuff

Thanks Lise for posting this. I told myself to make a similar post the other day and obviously forgot!

I called DCL today to see if I could motivate the pixie dust
I think it was very nice of the agent not to laugh at me when I asked.
