Calling all dream cruisers! My husband and I are booked to cruise the Bahamas on the dream September 30th. :cool1: Anyone else cruising too?

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

Hi Sarah,

My wife, two kids, and I will be cruising with you on the 9/30 Dream sailing. This will be our fifth Disney cruise - two to the Wonder (Bahamas), one on the Dream (Bahamas) and one more on the Wonder (Mexican Riviera) - but we're just as excited as we were for our first!

Hopefully we'll get a good number of people on this thread as we get closer. :)

Have you and your husband cruised on Disney before?

Ryan

Wahoo!! I'm so glad you and your family are joining us for the cruise! :cool1: This will be our 6th (my 5th) Disney cruise with 1 coming up in April and 2 in September--see my signature for details.

I was really nervous because no one had joined us yet, but I'm guessing more will join as the cruise gets closer.:thumbsup2

Hello!
We just came home from our first Disney cruise with the kids. It was the eastern on the Magic. It was spectacular!:worship:

My husband and I booked this cruise to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Look forward to meeting others!:goodvibes

Wahoo and welcome to the cruise! We are heading out on the eastern caribbean on the magic in April, and I'd love to hear more about your trip!

Cruising with Mickey is one of the best ways to celebrate anniversaries!

I just booked today! DH and I will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary. We are doing the 4 night cruise, then heading to the F&W Festival for 3 days! :cool1:

We haven't been on a Disney cruise since April 05 (that was with the kids) and I'm hoping it will be a nice way to spend our Anniversary. I'm looking forward to some R & R and doing a couple excursions, but mostly just enjoying the adult time away from the hustle/bustle of every day life . . .:thumbsup2

Welcome aboard!! We are excited that you'll be cruising with us! I honestly can't think of a better way to celebrate your 25th anniversary (congrats by the way) than cruising with Mickey!! :goodvibes

Thanks! :goodvibes I'm sure I'll be asking a ton of questions . . .2005 was such a long time ago . . .its like I'm a cruise newbie all over again!

Hi everyone!

My husband & I will be on this cruise. Third Disney cruise, first time on the Dream. We'll be at WDW for ToT then boarding the ship to relax.

Can't wait!!:cool1:

Wahoooo! Welcome to the cruise! I have a feeling that as the cruise gets closer more people will join.

We'll be at WDW in 3 weeks, after we get off the Magic! I can't wait to see all of the flower and garden displays!

Hi! This is my first post ever, so hopefully i'm doing it right! My family of 4 will be on this cruise. it will be our third on DCL. My kids have no idea. we always surprise them on the ride to the port! i'm really hoping to try out this fish extender thing i just learned about today. i had seen them but never knew what they were. Is anybody else up to participating / coordinating it?

We're always up for some Fish Extender fun. Since you're the first one to mention it, though, it may end up being just us.... ;) Once others join in, I'll be more than happy to maintain the list.

Welcome to the cruise!

Ryan

Thanks Ryan! (I haven't figured out how to quote yet) So it sounds like u have some experience with the FE's? Do u do it every time? I really hope that we get a bunch of other families to participate! i just discovered it & i think it's the coolest thing! My kids would love the little surprises! my mind is already spinning just thinking of giftie ideas. My husband doesn't quite get the coolness of it yet. ( i guess it doesn't help that i chose 11pm to explain it all to him !) :confused3

I haven't figured out how to quote yet

All you have to do is hit the "Quote" button on the bottom right of the post you want to quote. By default, it will quote the entire post. If you want to just quote a part of it, delete everything (except what you want to keep) that is between the two sets of brackets - in your case, it's showing as [ QUOTE = mimiof2 ; 44624087 ] ... [ / QUOTE ] (I added a bunch of spaces so that the system won't freak out....) :)

As for the FE's, we've done it every time we've sailed with the kids (four times). It's a lot of fun, but the "flavor" has been different every time, sometimes because a theme that was chosen, or the destination, or the size of the group - we've had FE lists as small as five rooms and as big as 30+. I do have to say that we've enjoyed it every time. The kids love waking up in the morning to see what they got every day. Steph and I feel the same way. I especially find joy in being the one who has to make the trek throughout the boat to deliver the packages. It makes me giddy for some reason.

Anyway, if you have any questions, let me know how I can help! :)

Ryan
