We are still short a couple names to get to the required amount of 25 (paying) that we need to book the OPEN BAR. I need to get this booked by Tue. if possible.

I hope not Oct. 29th.....they wouldn't be coming on the cruise!!! I know it doesn't seem possible that it is so close--after booking 18 months ago!!

I'll add my plea to sign up for the cocktail time! Even if you just get 2 drinks (1 at the beginning and one just before the hour is up,) it is worth it! I may or may not be able to drink depending on meds, but I plan on being there. It will be worth the money to see everyone all dressed up! How many times do you get to "play dress up" when you are "grown-ups!"

I'm confused, I thought the 25 needed was for the wine tasting and the open bar could be any group size?

Daughter is 5 and very much into barbies/princesses/dress up...LOVE LOVE LOVE after halloween sales! She has roughly 30ish costumes upstairs, everything from tinkerbell to a candy corn witch....and sad to say I have a few myself she begs me to wear on occasion

The "open Bar" for $13.25 giving you unlimited drinks and a private reserved venue has to be 25. If we don't get that then we have to "crash" a bar... just show up and order drinks on a pay as you go ....

The reserved venue and unlimited drinks is a much better deal!

I agree Piper... it is so much fun and well worth the $13.25 even if just for the fun and socializing. It's just awesome to see all of us in our pink boas and tiaras... and now the guys in their "beer shirts" lol Don't miss out on this really fun event.... There could even be a few prizes.....

I'm not sure how that works , but of the five cruises out of Galveston since 2006 (last one was Feb 2011), we have always come back with our limit on booze and we've never had to pay going through customs. Crossing the border at the legal crossing about four years ago we did have to pay tax on the alcohol. We've never had to pay returning from a cruise in Galveston. I hope this is not the return trip where we experience something new going through customs.

Oh, I hope this is true!! The tax isn't much, but the $3 admin fee on each bottle is!

It is 7638. I fixed the roll call. I hadn't looked at it for a loooong time. I will check it to fix as many changes as I can a little later tonight or early tomorrow morning!
