I finally got my passport! Woohoo! I have question... for formal night, can the men rent just the jacket or do you have to get the whole outfit?

Glad you were able to get it! Not sure about the rental though. Sorry!

Travel safe and enjoy WDW. I hear the crowds are rather light!

IMPORTANT: TIME CHANGE FOR MIXOLOGY!!!!

Since we had so many people sign up, DCL had to move our class to 5:00 on the 24th at the Tube. I know this may now cause conflicts for those of you who have already signed up. PLEASE delete your sign up if you cannot attend any longer. This may allow others to be able to join us. Thanks for your patience!

The PDF document file for the FE is complete! To download, follow the link below and click the download button. It includes deck by deck maps and two copies of the list- the original, and another listed by deck in numerical order. If you spot any mistakes or omissions please let me know and I'll get it fixed ASAP! Once you have the file downloaded you can email it to yourself or load as an ebook on your mobile phones/tablets. (The document is big, I would recommend a tablet/ereader). Hope you find it helpful. Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Now that we have all stateroom #s for the FE exchange, I've updated my map it's organized by forward, midship, and aft sections.

I've made a second map by deck.
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1uwJ4o3IdLevcL0pd3I1ZA6-62NyJVT1ge54O8U_Lexw/edit#slide=id.p

And I can't wait for nenner1's map too. So for the directionally challenged, like me, there's hope. I'll likely print all 3 types of maps.

Of course I haven't completely finished everyone's gift, but I'm ready to hand them out! :rotfl2: Just the motivation I need to finish. :yay:

--------------------------------------------------------
I finally got my documents! :woohoo: I'm armed with luggage tags, yay.
Do carry-on bags need luggage tags? You need them on every bag on the train, but not on a plane. So what about a ship?

These maps are going toe so helpful. Thanks to you and Jen for creating them! When I clicked on your map by deck, it said I needed permission, so I requested it. So, you might get a message,I guess! Just wanted to give you a heads up.

I am still not sure how I will deliver them yet...by deck or by fwd, mid, aft. Hmmm.

Finally feeling like a bit of progress is being made. I finally have all projects done, pillowcases for autographs made, magnets printed and cut out, fe gifts packed by cabin. Now I a going to spend the weekend doing laundry and packing. One week from right now, our family will begin the air on the way to Orlando! I am mildly stressed with the amount of things to do before then...

Oh Jen...too cute'. Love the Mickey hands and LGMHs. Your map is fabulous too!

Jeffrey,Connor and Mary would love to join you at Fish Lips. We stay in my uncles condo right in Canaveral so we can meet anytime.

Looks like we will be there at 7pm. We will need to get a final count by Tuesday or Wednesday so that we can reserve the appropriate sized party. So 3 for you, 5 for us... Lisa how many for you? Anyone else? Let us know ASAP.

We got our room assignment........upgraded to 10648 ocean view with verandah! Couldn't be happier! :cool1: Trying to get a few things together each day. DH will be traveling to West Coast and take the red eye back Friday morning. Leave at lunch Friday to head to Port Canaveral. I am so ready for the surprise for our boys! Now kind of worried that they may be a little let down that we are not going to WDW. I know they will be excited about the cruise and will love it, just my worried self coming out  Soooooooooooo excited even if I do worry!

Okay, I've never cruised before and I'm starting to get concerned about a potential hurricane or tropical storm interrupting our plans. I have no choice but to be flexible about that, but I'm more concerned about sailing in rough seas. Has anyone cruised actually during a hurricane/tropical storm and how bad was the ocean?

If there was a storm of any kind, the ship would sail way around it, possibly even changing itinerary. I really wouldn't be concerned. Being a Floridian, I watch/read all about the tropics all during hurricane season. Doesn't look like we have anything to be concerned about right now.

CiCi you are the best! This is perfect because in making the PDF I have come to the realization that it won't be able to be printed. In order to keep the resolution high enough to read when zoomed in, I had to make the base document size larger than 8x10 (which shouldn't matter on a mobile device...but that would make what I made impossible to print! So we have it covered from every direction! :thanks:

Although I was going to use your full deck maps to double check mine and make sure I have no mistakes but it won't let me see them- Google Docs says I don't have permission.

Now...on to our pre-cruise meet. This is Friday 9-21 at Fishlips at Port Canaveral. We (Ron and I) hadn't come to a set conclusion on what time to meet. The feedback I've gotten from others so far is pretty much "anything goes". We had decided that it might be around 7:30 PM...but we are very flexible on that time and now might be looking a little earlier for a reason I am going to express below.

This is where I would love some input from everyone- especially those that have had a meet at Fishlips before (last time our meet was at Grills down the road/canal). If you are planning to meet, do you want to eat a full meal? Should we make a regular table reservation or should we just meet out at the Tiki Bar (outside deck) (you can do that, right?)

I am now thinking that we might want to go a bit earlier so it is still light outside. I have been told by the owner of the Port Canaveral Webcam that he is going to begin Tiki Bar waves at Fishlips. What that means is if you are at Fishlips he will zoom the webcam in on you and you can wave to friends and family watching.

I asked but did not get a direct answer as to what time that is or how to go about it. So I can't promise we can make it happen for our group but I am thinking maybe we might want to back the time up just a bit earlier so there will still be light for the camera to see us (sunset for 9/21 in PC is 7:20 PM). I am thinking at least a whole hour earlier. And I am not 100% sure if he even does the Tiki Waves at different times than the sailaways (RCCL's Monarch leaves at 4 PM)...so it may be a moot point anyway. But I thought I'd throw it out there for us all to mull over.

Let me hear your opinions on the Fishlips meet- what time- meal or just drinks, etc. And those who have met there before let me know how it went for you! Thanks!!!:thumbsup2

Sorry, I forgot to change the permission to view the google document.

All fixed now. We can all return to our Over Planners Anonymous Activities.

So here are links to all of them.

These work well printed and are easy to read.

by deck

(I did print out a test sheet of deck 9 - must change paper layout to landscape, and the stateroom numbers are too small to read in the map, but the #s by usernames are easy to read. It's good if you want a hard copy printed to view the whole deck at once.)

And Jen's pretty map with adorable Mickey Heads and hands - so much prettier than mine - already in pdf format - along with FE participant list

Fish Lips
We'll be going there to have dinner. If all goes as planned (And we DON'T have to wait for the chiropractor's office to open), we'll arrive at our hotel, Four Points Sheraton, in plenty time to check in and get to Fish Lips. But that will assume we get out the door on time (6am :scared1:) - of which we are notoriously bad at. :rolleyes1

So I don't want to commit us to saying we'll meet there any earlier than 7pm. So 3 more for dinner Friday night.
