Getting pretty excited for our cruise! Making last minute excursion reservations. Anyone have any experience with the 7 Mile Beach Break in Grand Cayman? Anyone have any favorites in Grand Cayman? We have booked the Fury Catamaran in Cozumel so we are hoping that it is worth it but we are not sure about Grandy Cayman? Also, anyone out there have any recomendations for places (any port) to by Sterling Silver/Turquoise jewelry? Thanks for any info. You are all like have a personal travel advisor group!

My understanding is the DCL excursions goes to an area called SeaGrapes which is at the North end of the beach.

YIKES! We leave 3 weeks from today! Steve says we are driving. He just had a moment of weakness when the car was making noises.

Ann, Not too much longer for you! I'm kind of regretting that we canceled our second cruise. I had dreams of back to backs. But WDW was calling to me too. (Have you noticed that inanimate objects talk to me a lot?) Did you find out if they changed procedures about having to leave the ship between each cruise? That would stink!

Gees, I told Steve about me comparing him to Kurt Russell. Now he wants to know if all the ladies are talking about him on line. He better get busy on that Total Gym, if he doesn't want to disappoint the ladies too much. Of course he doesn't have hair like "Captain Ron", but then again Kurt doesn't really have hair like that either. And don't go expecting me to look like Goldie Hawn!

Did a lot of research and decided to pass.

FatCat will be on the Nautilus tour in Grand Cayman.

My wife said the tour is at 8pm and they are all going to meet me there. I should eat dinner by myself for some alone time. Aren't they nice!!!
So I figure I will wander around the island and catch up with them. Must be an exciting night tour.

You will be in good company. The week will fly by with all of the planning and packing going on. I am waiting for Target to come out with all of their Holloween costumes to see if there are any Pirate-y items that would work well for the Pirate Party. They usually start putting Holloween stuff out first of September. If I can't find anything then I guess it is "Caribbean Wear" for the party. What will you and your DH be modeling for the Pirate Party?

I just heard last night that one of our friends that's going with us got their docs yesterday Their last name starts with "C"...but ours starts with "L"...so I'm not thinking it has anything to do with where you fall in the alphabet....who knows. Maybe it has to do with when you booked?? Or who you booked with. So far it sounds like everyone whos gotten them booked with Dreams

Anyways...I know most of you haven't recieved them yet so I thought I'd share some things.... I know I've looked at the past navagators as well as on the DIS and in the Passporter for an idea on the times at the ports....but "Offically" in the document booklet it says.... Onboard in Port Canaveral 4:00pm, Key West 11:30-7:30 (start planning for that sunset ), Grand Cayman 7:30-4:30, Cozumel 9:30-6:30 and Castaway 9:30-4:30. I don't know about you but I thought we were in Cozumel for longer???

Dose anyone know if we HAVE to fill out the immigration forms for the Bahamas? Is CC considered part of the Bahamas? I went ahead and started to fill them out...but I got stumped on a few areas...like the Date of arrival??? I really don't know what the date will be if I'm not sure what's considered the Bahamas....if anything. I know on our past Western cruises...we HAD to fill them out because we ended up being rerouted and going to the Bahamas.... anyways anyone know?

I "think" I finally got my online stuff finished. Now to get the REST of my possie done And make copies of EVERYTHING

Did you fill out your documents for all three cruises on line and print the signature page for each? If so, you should be fine. You only need the luggage tags for the first cruise, since you can leave your luggage in the room. You may have to ask for a couple extra Bahama immigration forms to fill out at Guest Services. But otherwise you should be good to go. Only 5 days now for you. How exciting!
