I'll protect the virgins at the bar from the non-virgins at the bar

Looking forward to seeing you in some kind of official Virgin Protector outfit, Bob... :thumbsup2

Something like this..?

We are lucky enough to have linked our dining reservations with Eva and her DH as well as Bob and Penny! :grouphug: Poor people do not know what they've let themselves in for - oh wait, I've posted a photo now so they might have some idea... :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

TBH when DD and I cruised on the Wonder in 2005, we were mightily shocked (being uptight conservative Brits :lmao: ) to be at a table with just a very young honeymooning couple! They were actually quite sweet but it was tough keeping the conversation going on occasions. I had to squeeze my DD's leg to stop her from coming out with a smart answer when the young man asked us if we we had cell phones in the UK... :headache:

Steve and I are really looking forward to dinners on the cruise. I have the feeling that our table is going to be very lively. Especially since we have Virgin Protector at our table!

Oh, by the way, do they have cell phones in the UK? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Naw. Not enough spandex....

Cell phones in England! Who would have thought???:confused3

Thanks for the replies about linking ressies! Hopefully we won't be seated with "goofy" people (or that might be fun). Our last cruise was awkward it was myself, dh and dd who was 5 months old seated with a single dad with two kids and none of them wanted to speak to us very much. It would have been nice to have had another woman to talk to but instead I talked to the people at the table next to us.

I also vote for the virgin protector outfit, I think you should wear it in the terminal before we board so we all can spot you!:rotfl2:

Sorry, I must protect my secret identity. Besides, I would like to actually board the ship vs getting hauled off by the Disney police for scaring the passengers.

EVERYBODY JUST HOLD ON A SECOND!!!!!

I've never ever in my life had so many men want to protect ( read SWARM) me at a bar. Holy cow! I thougt that would be kinda okay and all until you guys brought out the SPANDEX:scared1: :scared1: . EEKKKK.

I'm hoping that my drinks come in a fancy glass with a small fruit basket on top, and an umbrella just to make it pretty! and for the price of the trip, some hottie named Orlando had better be delivering it, even if it is only chocolate milk. haha

Thanks for the sunglasses reminder....
Us Canadians use sunglasses not only in the summer time but in the winter time too. It's for a little thing we call SNOW BLINDNESS!

My DH has just heard about the job call for volunteers. and since I am apparently going to be occupied, he thought he would help out too. He says he wants to protect the women at the non-virgin bar. (he's a swell guy)

I look forward to meeting (from a distence) all you spandex wearing, wing eating, shelf builders. Hopefully the gross feelings  will pass shortly and I can post more regularly.

til later,
pre-shelf builder,
Michelle

If I donned spandex, my bum would look like the dark side of the moon:lmao: :rotfl2: Mike

OK, Bob, I hear you! More spandex and a cape - your wish is my command. Here's DH modelling the latest in Superhero Virgin Protector suits... :lmao:

Thanks so much for the birthday wishes. Steve has been working 14 - 15 hour days this week with upgrades at work. And I am pretty sure he has completely forgotten, again. Well, I am going to go into work a bit late today and take off early too. I'll just treat myself, if no one else will.

Secret Story: Steve forgot my birthday the first year we were married too. Back then I was pretty upset about the whole thing. Steve was in the military and we made very little money. So I scrimped and saved just to buy a small ham for my birthday dinner. And for an entire week before my birthday I went on and on about having that ham for my birthday. And then the lug-head comes home from work and sees that ham and about runs out the door. No card, nothing. Ever since then, he has never forgotten. Or put it this way, I have never let him forget. ;) But I think today may be the first exception to that.

PS - Karen that is a fabulous graphic! Thanks!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EVA!!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

Michelle- I hope your morning sickness ends soon! Mine ended this week so hopefully you are not too far behind!
- Michelle
