September 22, 2007 -- WESTERN

...Well, I made it to Phoenix. Actually I'm staying in Chandler, AZ. And I'm here for business in Tempe. But I added a couple of days to the trip and will be staying with my niece and her husband over the weekend. Her brother (also my nephew) lives here to with his fiance too. They have a fabulous boat and will be taking me skiing and sightseeing Friday and Saturday. I will be heading back on Sunday...
Sounds good, Eva! Have a wonderful weekend... :thumbsup2

...Steve gave me quite a hard time about being gone on Father's Day. But I told him that he wasn't my father. :rotfl:
Nicely done! :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

So Karen, are you going to join the pregnant ladies at the virgin bar?

Fat men like myself use the built in shelf on top of the belly for the remote control for the television. Also it comes in handy slumping on the couch to feed the grand baby a bottle. Just lay her across you on the built in shelf and give her a bottle. while you have her head cradled in your arm. :rotfl2: One hazard is she just might stick her toe in your mouth as she is sucking her bottle to keep you alert.:lmao:

I had heard at one time that Grand Cayman was considering building a dock so that you would not have to tender there. Guess that has kind of gone by the wayside. It would put the tender operators out of business though. Some cruise lines use their lifeboats to tender their own passengers in.

We can count on you Mike to give us all a giggle or 2 !:rotfl2:

Heck... we dont need a cruise to entertain each other!

Ann popcorn::

How funny! We both are only one week apart in pregnancy, My "real name" is Michelle as is yours........WOW!

I see you have a third name in your siggy, do you have another little one?

And yes, we will have to hang out at the virgin bars.

hi Shelly, this is the DH of realfam (Michelle) an yes we do have another little girl. Except she is not so little. She is 11 1/2 years old and very excited about this trip. The 3 of us did Disney World in 05 for 8 solid days straight.
I personally will not be at the virgin bars:banana:  It may get confusing on the ship when I call out for Shelly (since thats what I do call Michelle from time to time). Having 2 pregnant women answering to will be down right scarey:eek:
I must say it does sound like a good group going, and as far as I can see, we are the only Canadian's eh!

Alex,
We took a vote and decited that Canadians can come with us on this cruise !:rotfl2:

Sounds like an excellent idea, Ann! :thumbsup2 I will PM you...

Karen tell your DH to be sure to bring his camera. Pictures of the pregnant ladies at the virgin bar should be priceless.

Have to go and pick up my DW from the hospital. She had a busy night and it is time to come home and get a good days sleep. Mike

Good news, I just picked up our car from the body shop and it is nice to have our Prius back. The rental car was getting half the fuel mileage and I swear I could watch the fuel gauge drop before my eyes.

Fellow cruisers don't forget to pack your sunglasses for the cruise. Sunblock most everyone remembers, but you need sunglasses to protect your eyes from the strong sunlight. We have found crocks footwear to be great for using on the beaches, just rinse the sand out of them. They are great for walking around on the deck also.

The drink station on deck nine aft is great for getting cokes or soda, fruit punch, coffee, milk and hot water for tea. Mike
