The DISboards section on cruise check in has the following about finding the terminal.
Once you arrive at the port, finding the cruise terminals is easy. Signs along the highway clearly chart your course. Cruise Terminals 5 and 9/10 are located on the north side of the port and can be reached via SR 401. Cruise Terminals 2, 3 and 4 are on the south side near Jetty Park. Just turn left off SR 528 into Port Canaveral, then make a right turn onto George King Boulevard and follow the signs.
Are there signs similar to airports that will tell you which terminal you go to or will it just be obvious.

Thanks again... :confused3

There are signs Bob. But it doesn't take long before you see the ship and that will help guide you too.

Yikes! I'm not sure what to do. We have been planning on driving the entire time. Then Sunday Steve started talking about flying instead. I think he was a bit nervous because our car was making a funny noise. We did get it fixed. But now I have started thinking about flying. Total it will cost $500 extra to fly down and rent a car for two weeks. Hmmm, I can't seem to decide. We love the drive down. But the drive back stinks! I guess I better decide soon! :)

Sandi, I registered. Here's a little pixie dust your way. pixiedust:

Good morning everyone.

Sandi- I will register today.:)

Mike- I have a question for you dear. I remember a while back you suggested taking ponchos with us to each island in case we get caught in a rain shower. I was reading a trip report last week and sure enough, people were caught in a shower.
So question: did you get your ponchos here in Nashville (if so where) or in Orlando? I know they have them at the parks but where can I get them before the cruise? Jason will not be happy if he gets his bald head wet.:rotfl:

Michelle, go to walmart, dollar tree, deals, kmart or anywhere. They have them on the ship, but they are more expensive there.

Sandi, I voted for you in the poll.

Starting the great ups truck hunt down for our documents. Mike

Perhaps you have already considered this, but how about renting a nice car from where you live and save the airline fare.

My TA said she has not gotten documents for the 9/15 cruise yet for her customers.
She did state that the TA docs seem to get mailed out later than anyone who books via DCL or DVC.

We booked through Dreams Unlimited. I have no idea if that would make any difference. I would expect that if Disney was going to prioritize mailing docs, it would be for their own bookings first.

We booked direct with DCL. There is no rhyme or reason as to how they send out the documents. Called them this morning and talked to someone named Luna, she said they do not send them out before 14-10 days of sailing. They don't know what's going own no more than I do:confused3

Eva, Bob had a good suggestion. Rent a car at home, and then you will not have to worry about it on your trip. Mike

Thanks a bunch to everyone who's voted. :goodvibes I'm still behind by 10 votes...but's it's close :thumbsup2

No documents here. I've been going back and forth on wanting to start packing. I think by this next weekend I won't be able to hold back any longer. :goodvibes So..who else has started loading their bags??? I'm sorta in a place were I really don't know where to start. Any good tips. Serious :goodvibes I'd love to hear some good starting points for packing everything.

Well..Thanks again everyone for looking at my lo and voteing. For those of you who haven't done it yet.... if your intrested in voteing here's the link...

My Layout (picture) is the "F" one..."LIVE LIFE". It's a photo I took on our last Disney cruise in St. Martian.

I'm not sure...but once you register you have to wait a day or two to be approved before you can actually log on and vote or post....anyways I'm not sure that after you register and log on if it'll take you to the correct link...IF NOT...after you've registered and been approved you should be able to come back to the link I posted above and get there from that. If not...just ask.

OH...I almost forgot...voting ENDS this FRIDAY SO..ya gotta register soon to be approved in time to vote.

THANKS

Here's what my lo looks like..in case your intrested in what your voteing for:goodvibes

OH....I was also going to say I had another friend register this morning.....a couple hours ago and she's already been approved and able to log on. So it looks like they've gotten caught up on all the new registered people and are getting to newest ones sooner. SO it should be ready for you to get back on and vote later today.

I am not so concerned about my room.

My other two rooms are gty 12's.
We are just curious.

Also the 2nd two rooms are waitlisted for first dining.

We were told not to link our reservation to theirs as we may
lose our main dining.

So we are all trying to coordinate.

So any theory right now for me is a good theory.

Thanks for the suggestion. But, we found out the noise was just the heat shield around the muffler. The straps were a bit loose and made a noise like wind going through a pipe. I'm not sure if a rental would be anymore reliable than ours, since it is only a year old. Steve just got me thinking of the 19 hour drive home. YUCK! I think we will stick to driving though. The logistics of getting a last minute flight and renting a car might give me headaches. Plus, we have such a great time driving down. It really heightens the excitement as each mile goes by. :drive:

I am on the phone w/ Disney and am turning down an upgrade. That sounds snobby doesn't it? I feel bad.

However, we were booked in a cat 6, starboard side deck 5. They upgraded us to a cat 4, port side w/ a connecting door. I was really concerned that the baby may wake up during the night and wake up the neighbors since I have read the connecting doors are thin.

Well they are very sweet on the phone at the moment and have offered me a cat 4 starboard side (rm 8598). It does have the solid wall (never had that before) so we are going to try it.:)

I am thinking that the extra room, where the bed pulls out from the wall is where we can put the baby's pack and play.

I hope I haven't made a mistake. I am nervous now...

I certainly didn't want to sound ungrateful. What would you all have done?

Haven't started yet but I desperately want to organise my outfits and, until I have a spare bedroom again, I won't be able to do that!!! Sooo I'm on hold until youngest DS returns to school on September 5th - then I can use his bedroom for packing... ;)

I think the road trip sounds great - wish I could do that with my DH! I know the return journey must suck but I think the advantages of being the master of your own destiny must outweigh the negatives... :goodvibes Good luck with whatever you decide, Eva...

Yikes! Will you have enough time?! :rotfl:

Well the good news is you are now 3 decks higher instead of 1 deck higher than the FatCat.

I SNORE. :cloud9:

I would have done the same as you - we've stayed in hotels with dodgy interconnecting doors (including the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island) and have really hated it! Once, in the Gramercy Park Hotel NYC, our 'neighbour' complained about the sound of our TV. As I was trying to keep a cranky 3 year old and two young teens amused at the time, I wasn't best pleased so (and here's the moral of the story  ) I'd avoid any form of interconnecting room unless my family were in the adjoining accommodation...

IMO the Cat 4's look v cool! We're trying one of them in December 2008... :thumbsup2

Is everyone having a tough time with their new clothes? Mine keep calling to me! Wear Me! Wear Me! I've been trying my hardest to wash them right away and put them away in our guest room. But I have all the clothes laying on the bed with towels over them and I am having a hard time staying away from them.

Yikes! Will you have enough time?! :rotfl:

I thrive under pressure! Oh no, wait - I crumble under pressure! I was confusing myself with Nancy Drew for a moment there... :lmao:
