thanks for the correction on DD versus DS.

I can add another page to the website and add photos. Am doing this on the Sept 08 cruise I am going on and have started a website for that cruise as well.

So if ppl want to add pics let me know. I will just create a new page, upload photo and identify user and real name under the pic.

would just need to remember it may take me a while to get it done between work and other "stuff" going on here at home. But I don't mind doing this is ppl want a photo page.

Welcome to all the newbies that posted going on the cruise.

I need a HUGE favor from you and others..... Click on link to our website (it's in my signature) Magical Memory Tour 07. Check to see if your are listed on the Cruise Passenger page. If listed is it correct info, do you have more info you want me to add.

So just let me know if need info corrected, added, or listed to begin with.

Hi Marsha! Thanks for adding us to the list.:) One little correction....Brandon is 14, and in fact, we will be celebrating his 15th b-day on board, and Amanda's 22nd b-day. I am not sure what cabin we are in. We have 2 verandah GTY. We won't know our dining time until we board, because I booked using my Disney Cast Member discount:thumbsup2 , so I guess we get whatever is available!!

We just got home from Downtown Disney, and we all got T-shirts to wear when we board, and pirate shirts for pirate night! It will be so hard waiting for the 22nd to get here!

I picked up my neice Sydney from Daytona Beach to stay with us for a couple of weeks before she starts school, and I have been showing her all the trip reports, pics, and our cruise DVD. It will be so much fun having a little one with us (although I can't believe she is 9 already!) She was a little apprehensive about the kids club but after she watched the DVD, she is now very excited to go!

Jill- I told her that there was another Sydney that is her age, and she thought that was very cool and hopes they will get to hang out together at the club! We looked at your scrapbook online, and it is gorgeous! Your girls are beautiful. I can't wait to make ours after the cruise. My mom and I did scrapbooks of our last 2 big Disney trips, and it was so much fun.

Enjoy the weekend everyone! Only 62 days, 15 hours, 55 minutes to go! (We are being picked up at 7:30 am on 9/22):)

Hi all!

I just can't seem to keep up here, but glad to know you all are chatting away. :)

We booked our Palo dinner for the 3rd night. I could not get brunch (first time ever before boarding to have that problem), so I guess I will be running up to Palo once we board.

The only excursion I have booked is the catamaran on Castaway Cay. That sounded like a fun way to spend a couple of hours.

We have been "home" to Disney twice since I last posted (including a quick anniversary trip - 20 years - earlier this month).

I look forward to meeting everyone soon!

Only 2 More Months!!!!

I dont recognize anyones screen names, are most of you pretty new to DCL and/or DIS boards?
My family and I have cruised several times with DCL ...
I say this will be my 11th cruise, but Kathy and Jeff disagree and say it will only be my 10th! :-) It is a sickness I tell you. Those of you who have not cruised yet, may want to save yourself lots of maney in the future and just back away slowly........RUN dont do it! It is addicting! LOL

Any one else going to be on the EB repo next year? Jeff anf Kathy and I cruised together in March, and we WERENT supposed to cruise again until the EB repo next year, BUT well we see how that worked out! HAHA

Well, my user name says August of 1999, but that's because the DIS went to a new server at that time and everyone that was currently a member got stamped with that date when Pete moved to Florida. But I know that I was on the one and only board (Can you believe it used to be only one board?) before we bought DVC in the summer of 1997. In 1998 I actually shared a MK fireworks cruise with Pete Werner and his friend. But I go through phases of posting and just reading, so my number is fairly low. I mainly stay on the DVC and cruise boards nowadays. I sometimes pop up on the restaurant or theme park board. What other boards does everyone else tend to read and/or post to?

I would love to go on the EB Repo cruise. But I believe it is totally sold out now. Steve has been talking about going to Europe next year. So we will probably do that along with a 7-day cruise or week trip to WDW. I thought we had the whole year planned, but we keep changing our minds. Plus we found out our nephew is getting married in Las Vegas in April and that adds another trip to the year.

Good morning all. Had a good trip to Orlando. One of the high lights was meeting our new table mate for the cruise.:yay: Hi Marsha.

Universal was nice, but we didn't make it over to the adult side, as we spent most of our time in IOA at Dr Suess land. I think that Katie must have ridden the Cat in the Hat ride a dozen times.

Welcome aboard to our newest cruise family members. In nine weeks we will be in Key West. Mike

Mike,

Let's be more specific.

In 9 weeks we will be enjoying Key Lime Pie at the Blonde Giraffe.

Perhaps we should also visit the Hemingway Cats before their trial.

Does anyone know if the cat juggler is still in Mallory square? He used to juggle live cats. Mike

Anyone wearing a tux on Formal nite? :confused3

They have them online and in the stores at Kohls. :thumbsup2

http://www.kohls.com/products/produ...LDER<>folder_id=419841295&bmUID=1185136623992

If you have kohls charge you can get an additional 15% off. :teacher:
So if you do it right you can get it all for $125 pre-tax.

Or you can do what I am doing and getting just the

Tux shirt, tie, cumberbund, cufflinks. (Currently 27.99)

I am wearing it with my black suit. Only you Dis memebers will know the difference. ;) Shhhh. :3dglasses

Then I can wear by black suit on Semi-Formal nite. :cool2:
And I can then ruffle out the shirt and wear it on pirate nite. pirate:

Thanks for the link Chris. No Tux for us. Been an outdoor worker all my life, and just not into the suits. That is unless they are carharts , for the winter time or bib overalls in the summer. Spent 28 years working on the railroad tracks for CSX. Mike

Steve will be in a black suit for formal and semi formal nights. We had talked about a tux, but decided to spend the money on a new suit. Plus, I can buy him ties and shirts that coordinate with my dresses more easily this way.

Eva as Sinbad once said. Married women mark their territory, by dressing their husbands. It sends out secret signals to other women to back off.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: Even though I do not do suits or tuxedos, a suit is my choice, and my wifes:lmao: :rotfl: Mike

I've just spent the last hour reading all (well, most - ok, some) of the posts to try and catch up. So now I have a few questions and answers.
Q. How do we get on the "Passenger list?" (we are Wayne & Jeannette on Deck 7 celebrating 25 years together and J's birthday. Early dinner seating).
Q. Bareacuda - I'd like to get 2 braclets, but don't seem to be able to PM you. Could you send me a PM or e-mail. just let me know where to send a check or cash. Thanks.
And a few answers:
It's just under 30 mins from MCO to WDW.
I highly recommend the Embassy Suites at MCO. Free transportation to/from MCO, happy hour, and full breakfast for 100-125/night.
Near the port, we've stayed at Country Inn for 75-100/night (had a view of the port) and would stay there again. No free transport to ship but they have a local shuttle guy they'll call.
Also near the port is a very new Residence Inn which we'll be staying at Friday night (1 BR Suite for $109).
Transportation: We rent a car on Friday at MCO and drop off at Cape Canaveral on Saturday. I go with whoever is cheapest. Budget, Hertz, Avis all provide free shuttle to/from the ship. This time $40 from Hertz.
When we return we get the shuttle to Hertz and pick up a car to go to AKV at WDW until Monday. (2 days for $84) Returning it to MCO.
I too am a PO and hear in GA they are "planting" unoccupied patrol cars to see if drivers move over. They have troopers up ahead watching and stopping those who don't move over or slow as necessary. Although I believe it is important to pay full attention when driving this is just a money making scam! (Wonder when we'll start doing it here?)
We've been to WDW over 50 times and welcome any travel questions!

owtrbnks...
I have "saved" 2 wristbands for you. You can pay me on the ship. I'll have them labled and prices for everyone. I ordered several more then needed for the newbies.

Ann :stitch2:

Welcome to All!
It's great to see our list grow. Note: If you want to pm someone, just click on their user name on the left and there is a choice to pm them.

Darn Right! I didn't go through all this for 25 years just to have some sweet young thing swoop in and reap all the benefits of my hard work! :rotfl2:

Eva that goes both ways, we have too much invested in our marriages after all these years to change now. Men like to look, but sweet young things are too much trouble:lmao: , except for our grand daughters:thumbsup2 Mike

Actually my wife would prefer if I would tone down my appearance a bit. :hippie:
See pic below? I have matching Crocs for my shirt!!!!

She does however state that it is quite easy to find me in a crowd.
:dance3: :dance3: pirate: :dance3: :dance3:

Just picked up a new straw hat for cruise. Put some Disney Pins on it. :cool2:
Now my daughter wears it all day.

Gonna have to go get another hat. pirate:
