September 2012

did you get the confirmation, or is it just rumour and innuendo???

83 sleeps for mepopcorn::

DH got a booking confirmation on some large Ford Explorer or the like! Yay. Now to sort the shuttle out. I'll prod him on that next week when he's defrosted, he's running a marathon tomorrow in poor Wellington winter weather.

Oh your poor DH as the weather here in Wellington tonight is hedious and is not expected to be much better tomorrow. I'll be standing on the soccer game sideline shivering away watching DD7 play!

Hi!!

Rejoining again now that i think we have finally booked everything! This is our plan:

27 August - depart Brisbane fly to Orlando - don't know how silly we are doing this with an extremely overactive 5 year old boy but we just wanted to get there.

3 nights at Hard Rock Hotel

Disney fantasy cruise

4 nights Beach Club resort

3 nights Contemprory resort

4 nights New York at Marriott Hotel Times Square.

We have also booked the following ADR's:

- Mickey's backyard BBQ
- Hollywood & Vine
- Tusker House
- Garden Grill
- Cape May Cafe
- T-Rex
- Crystal Palace
- Chef Mickey's

I am still undecided whether we should book a car to get from the airport to Hard Rock or whether we should just get a taxi once we arrive. Any ideas??

thanks

today's been cold here in sydney as well....but not down near freezing...although I am thinking I may have a lacteze tablet then some hot chocolate:confused3..need it to warm these old bones....
minnie is even in her jacket....looking very stylish i might add..and the best thing is, she wont move when you put it on her..so you can pop her in a corner and she wont move...:rotfl:

so..we went to Hawaii and shopped at target...bill $245 usd...the card was declined....anyway paid cash and moved on.

Chatting to com bank visa chick yesterday about something else and mentioned it...she said due to all the fraudulent transactions especially at some major stores, they refuse approval on anything over say $100...so if you want to shop at target/ Walmart with combank visa/ mastercard, then do it in lots of $100 otherwise your in for a world of pain...

here to help

Well the weather sort of blew itself out but it was bitterly cold for the marathon. DH did it in 4 hours and 40 seconds. Would have been well under 4 hours had he not done a 'Luigi's Pitstop'. He's staggering around, literally, muttering about booking a shuttle for us to get to San Pedro port for the DCL cruise. I think he's now holiday focussed (and the wedding in Sydney on the 10th of August).

Ba ha ha - I think he didn't have too much on his mind for 4 hours 40 seconds but 'Oh man, why did my wife sign me up for this last Christmas?'! :rotfl: No chance of us running to port, I only run trails in the dunes and hills - I avoid tarmac whenever possible and people as much as I can too, just me and the dunes! And trying to get the kids running is one directon is a bit like trying to herd eels, darn near impossible unless you are waving something tasty in front of them. I'm not running to San Pedro from Disneyland with a leg of KFC on a string behind me.:lmao:

that is priceless..but as I said, i'd pay money to see that...maybe a turkey leg from DL instead of KFC, will last longer..more Km's for your buck!:rotfl:

now dune running......ouch..my calves are hurting just thinking of it, oh and i HATE sand:sad:

78 until we fly out I think!

Woohoo I better stop spending money...:laughing:

my new carry on:love::love::love:

My daughters saw those carryon bags when we went to Costco the other week, and wanted to get one, but their grandmother had just bought them different carryon bags for their birthdays. That is a dangerous place, I always spend too much there. No more superflous spending for us now until after our trip, our almost 8 year old cost us $950 at the dentist today for a plate due to her thumb sucking..and we only signed up for extras cover 6 months ago and the waiting period is 12 months! booooo. $950 could have bought us a lot of Disney stuff!
