September 2012

Excitement!

What dates you got it booked for?

I want to stay there just to say i've had a go LOL

Yeah, me too... Sad hey? Lol.

We are there from 29th September - 5th October. Then we move down the street to the Hojo for the last 5 nights of our trip. We've stayed there before and loved it. Got Entertainment card rates so it's subsidising our champagne taste/beer budget choices;)

The beer budget does go so much further in the USA

Like I said last night 1.75litre Jim Beam for $27.99 :rolleyes1

I'm hanging out for a pincode for DLR  best I not be holding my breath.

What dates are you looking for? My beautiful, gorgeous little brother (he's 32 yrs old btw) put me onto a great rate.

You'll love GCH, I loved it last trip, I want a house that looks like the lobby. Unfortunately it's out of the budget this time as we're staying 2 weeks, I thought about a split stay between there and PPH but my husband thinks it's too much of a hassle so we're sticking with PPH.

Thanks, that's great to know. I can't wait to step into that lobby!

Flights booked and paid for, cruise booked and paid for, accommodation booked (is a confirmation email enough or do I need to follow up with a phone call?), travel insurance done.

Have decided we will get annual passes for Disneyland. Works out a lot cheaper because our cruise is in the middle of our holiday. Plus I thought DD and I could possibly go back in the April school holidays next year.

Just need to save, save, save all that shopping money :cool1::cool1:

Hi all
I too am in the midst of planning a holiday to Dianeyland. The last time we went there was 11 years ago (before children). We are heading over in September and spending 5 nights in Anaheim, then heading to hollywood and calrsbad/San diego area. Then the piece de resistence is the 7 night Pacific Coast cruise disney Wonder:cool1::yay: which I am very excited about. My two DS (5 and 9) are saving wildly for all the souvies and pins that they have their eye on.

Will be lovely chatting in the next few months :)

Cheers

We hope that it will be the first of many trips to Disneyland with the boys. Its just the flight lengths that  scare me :)

Hi fellow Kiwi, welcome to our special little Aussie/Kiwi area of the boards! :grouphug: I'm very excited for you as your trip sounds fantastic! It is so great to be able to see DL through your children's eyes for their first time. Happy planning :cheer2:

Meandmygirl - did you end up going VGT on the cruise? We took the option on it as it was such a bargain

Dennes - Welcome! We are over in SoCal for three weeks in September too. What's the sail date on your cruise? We and Meandmygirl are on the 23rd of September sailing. Like you we are in Carlsbad for a week and then a week in Anaheim then onboard the Wonder.

AustralianKaren - that photo made me gag. I think it was more to do with watching marathon episodes of The Walking Dead than anything but man that turkey leg was disturbing. :crazy2:

yes, I am here to disturb and astound you ! (where's my stirry thingy)

I think I worked out 137 days until we get on a jet plane :woohoo:

Still paying, still booked no hotel accomodation

It'll come.

I'm also still thinking 2 days at Disneyland, Carsland looks awesome, so we'll definately need to see both parks again :thumbsup2

Last day of my work week tomorrow :dance3:

And NYC is going to send me broke :upsidedow

No idea what VGT means lol:confused3.

VGT is Verandah G'tee. Four about six weeks DCL had a VGT option on our cruise (closed just before Easter from memory). Cost us about $200 more to upgrade from a 10A to a g'teed verandah. We don't get to pick which verandah but we know it won't be a Navigators as they only take three people and there are four of us. We thought it was a good bargain to get a bit of outside space.

AustralianKaren - I don't know where you've left your stick, here's a moped instead! :moped:

My boyfriend and I just booked a 10 day trip back to the world!
We are getting married there next September and we just decided last week that a trip to the world to do wedding planning would be awesome, so we did some figures and we booked!!! I am so so excited!!

We are leaving the 7 September and coming back the 16! We are staying at pop with free dining!

We have booked at Kona Cafe for Breakfast, Chef Mickeys for breakfast, Kouzzina by Cat Cora for dinner and Sci-fi Dine in for lunch. Just need to make one more reservation for D's birthday and maybe organize a cake too!

I'm so happy to be a fellow September 2012 traveller :)
