Us too. We will be getting in to MCO at around 8:00 pm on Wednesday night. Maybe we will see you around.

We land at 8:30 - I was really hoping to make it to see Wishes from the Poly beach, but I don't think we can move that fast!

Are you still keeping the secret? I am, but I'm busting to tell! I also can't get any packing or organizing done, since I don't want to give anything away! I have to work Mon and Tues, but took Wednesday off to get it all done - I need to make sure I stay off the boards that day!

Hello DISers!!

We just got home after a very wonderful and fun trip. The weather was beautiful (mid to high 80s) and we only had two days of rain which were Thursday and Friday. It rained other times, but we were usually taking an afternoon nap. We are unpacked and just about to head out for some grocery shopping since we left the house empty. Call me crazy, but I'm going to upload photos and hopefully start my TR tonight. Will keep you posted.

We are still keeping the secret. Kids have no idea. Although it was really funny. Today we found Perry the Platypus slippers at Target and Princess slippers which some how spawned a conversation about Disney by my son. His one request...."Next YEAR when we go to Disney, can we stay at Wilderness Lodge?" (Oh shoot! since we are staying at AKL) Then, he said, "Never mind. How about AKL?" I had to play it off and say, "Remember, we aren't going to Disney next year." Little does he know, it's because we are going in 4 days! And at least I know he will be super happy with AKL. I know the bunkbeds are going to make him even more happy.

Oh no! That doesn't sound good. Hope everything is okay. My oldest has a fever and runny nose and we leave on Wednesday. We can't afford to get sick now! Ugh!

We're here!! We've been here since about 3:30. We have had dinner (and tie-dye cheesecake!), and toured around taking pictures. Unfortunately, I left something at home. DH's migraine medicine.And he has a nasty one raging now. I feel HORRIBLE! I just hope he's better tomorrow. sparks19, I hope you're feeling better!We're in room 2467. Fifties, fourth floor, close to the parking lot and facing the pool. I like it here! I'm taking the girls to the pool so DH can rest!

Unfortunately, I left something at home. DH's migraine medicine.And he has a nasty one raging now. I feel HORRIBLE! I just hope he's better tomorrow.

I have an upper resp infection and ear infection. Our dog sitter is MIA. And now DD is running a fever.

We just got back from our trip... a one week vacation turned into a 2 week nightmare! We did have some fun, but we had loads of problems... culminating in DM spending a week in the hospital... 4 days of which was in the ICU. Her health has hit a point that we now feel that this was a very last trip.. it will take an extreme change in her health to be able to take any more vacations. She has confusion at times that makes me scared to leave her alone, she actually got lost when we arrived at our resort. On our last day, instead of going to Epcot, I had to call 911 as she was in severe pain... the paramedics found that her heart was in A-FIB and rushed her to the hospital... this is a new condition for her and she had to be placed on blood thinners... if this had continued untreated she could have gone into full blown heart failure or developed a clot that could lead to a stroke. She says she felt like she was gonna die and I was afraid at the time she would.

I hope everyone elses trips are much better than ours turned out.

It seems like this hasn't been a great time for health for several of us.... Yikes!!

Hey all! Just taking a quick moment before we head to bed. We have been non-stop since we got here and we still have 4 more days to go. So far we have been having a great time, even with the few moments of grump we have all had from being so tired. It is pretty hot and there was not a drop of rain to cool us down today. Thankfully, we did Hollywood Studios so most of what we did was inside. The crowds havent been bad at all, and we haven't had any problems getting fast passes for what has had a wait. So far we have done a brief stop in MK, Epcot and HS. We are doing our first full day at MK tomorrow and we have o'hana and CRT tomorrow!

I am sorry that so many of us are ill. We are trying to get fevers, asthma, and upper respiratory infections, plus one ear infection under control before we leave Wednesday. Seems to be the time of year for everyone getting sick. Hope everyone feels better soon.

Holy smokes. Last night couldn't have gone any worse. What an insane night.

First the dog sitter was totally Missing In Action. we could not find her, could not get a hold of her. Nothing. We were FREAKING out. Panic ensued lol. Luckily Brian called a friend and had him go over to the house to be with the dogs until we figured out what to do. We were just going ot have him drop the dogs at the kennel today (Sunday) even though that was not what we wanted to do with the dogs but it was our only choice.

Then Hannah started running a fever and her cough seemed to be getting worse.

I ended up at urgent care with a nasty ear infection. Doc says I have an upper resp infection and he's surprised I say I don't have any other symptoms lol he said I had an elevated temp, congestion when he listened to my breathing and my glands are pretty swollen and now... a very painful ear infection. The infection is in the ear canal itself and it's so swollen I can hardly hear.

but one night makes all the difference....

The dog sitter called at 11:30 apologizing profusely. She was out of town this past week with her family (which I knew) and she had a bad reaction to medication and her face swelled up and she was rushed to the hospital and kept there for a few days and she didn't have a way to get a hold of me. but she is OK and she was at the house and the dogs were very happy to see her and everything is back to normal on that front.

Hannah's fever has been down all night. back to normal temp and she didn't cough once all night so hopefully she will be fine.

I got antibiotics and hopefully they will start kicking in ASAP because my ear is KILLING me.

But in the end.... we arrive at DISNEY today all's well that ends well

We're supposed to be headed to AK today, but instead I'm coming back from the only 24 hour CVS pharmacy in Kissimmee. DH STILL has a migraine. He didn't get any sleep (and neither did I) because the rooms on either side of us are occupied by the noisiest Brazilian families on the planet. At three this morning, I went into the bathroom and belted out an ear blistering string of expletives in Portuguese. It got very quiet after that! Hopefully Chris will feel better this afternoon. If so, we may hit Epcot! I'm trying to think positive!

4am and i can't sleep - leave for Disney in 7 hrs.... gonna be a long day... the kids are all so excited - once they started believeing us that we were going to Disney - they actually thought we were pulling a joke on them... don't know how to take that... oh well, they are excited now - can't wait to get there...
